Well, being a Malaysia, we love to have both combination in one pot as so, we have the Mala Soup and another is the Pork Herbal Soup. And in here The SiChuan broth served you with the flavored with chili peppers and other strong-tasting herbs and spices. The main ingredients include hot pepper, Chinese crystal sugar, and wine to make the awesome-spicy broth. According to the owner, the recipe here was originated all the way from China.

客家料理。 可是味道还好,可能吃不习惯偏甜的煮法。 总结:⭐️⭐️
2. Hakka style curry prawn 瓦煲香辣虾 (RM 25-35) Taste like curry, looks like curry but not your typical curry. They also added in some dried chill paste in it (if my tongue is not mistaken). A must order dish, i bet you can finish the whole bowl of rice just with this.
Did you know Da Long Yi Hotpot has a very big following and outlets worldwide. Hailing from Chengdu, this authentic Sichuan style hotpot has over 300 outlets worldwide! It’s pretty cool then that they’re now available for us to enjoy in Malaysia. I was over at their outlet in Kota Damansara, Sunway Nexis to be exact. In fact I hear their opening their 3rd outlet soon at Bukit Bintang. Their 2nd outlet currently is located in Johor.
My order for this round are: Prawn Fish paste @ RM 28 Marble Beef Slice @ RM 46 (180g) – Recommended New Zealand Lamb Slice @ RM 28 – recommended Iberico Pork Slice @ RM 38 – recommended Thousand Layer Beef Trip @ RM 28 Duck Blood @ RM 8 Handmade mushroom Pork and Meatball @ RM 16 Clayfish (Xiao Long Xia) – 6 pcs @ RM 38
Now what better way to enjoy Da Long Yi's Signature broth if it isn't with some amazing Beef Slices? Absolutely gorgeous, definitely recommended for any beef enthusiast.
Verdict: Big portion with reasonable pricing, a return trip was on the cards. (^o^)v
5.30 pm - his dinner of fish paste Mee hoon from the same place as the pork noodle. MYR 10 nett too. I tried the fish paste, texture is a bit QQ and firm. It taste like it has more fish meat in it than other items so this gets a thumbs up from us. Will order this again.
Ambiance: 6.5/10 Price: 6/10 Food: 6/10 (non-halal) Verdict: Omega Pork Noodle serve decent noodles, but not exactly the porky kind. If you know what I mean.
Just for info, they are the champion for Malaysia Hainan Chicken Rice Open Competition at year 2007. So judge it your own, how the taste of theie chicken rice. I taste it great and Yum.
What about our very own champion Chicken Rice? Crowned as the Malaysian Hainan Chicken Rice Open Competition champion in 2007, Tasty Chicken Rice is located within Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara.
Really impressed with the serving RM 8.00 ( small ). As you can see, those miced meat patties, meat balls, pork slices were generously filled the soup bowl which is certainly a delightful sight. Also like the sweet and savoury pork broth full with porky goodness without being too heavy on the palate.
So yes, if I’m at Kota Damansara looking for pork noodle, this is definitely in my list.
Verdict: Recommend this place if you like pork noodles. Wallet friendly and tasty food, I can’t find any reason not to revisit. 。^‿^。
Can’t really go wrong with Wantan noodles...but what about it being Red!? Well there’s a place in Kota Damansara where they’ve got all sorts and it’s got a r...
Truth is the red chili sauce may look unappealing during the initial moment, nor the taste was not that impressive at the very first bite. However as you go for more noodles, a pleasant taste builds up, along with a nice aroma that tempted us to go more for the noodles. At the same time, we also tried Black Chili Wantan Mee with thicker noodles. It tasted like conventional wantan mee but with an added heat component. A great choice too.
What I really like about their wan tan mee is the noodles itself. It is by far my favourite texture and thickness of wan tan noodles. It is cooked al dente, chewy and addictive. You know how some noodles will just make you want more? This is definitely one of them! The char siews are those typical thinly sliced and dry ones that you'll normally get. If they pay attention to the char siews too, I'm sure this would be the ultimate bowl of wan tan mee.
My favourite choices are bacon, pork slice, fish dumpling and prawn (Damn fresh and meaty).
At the end of the meal, it was easy to understand why this place is always packed. We did return for a second time. Sadly, either my expectation was too high or they aren't consistent with the soup.
As you can see as above, there are meal package can serve for 2 - 5 pax. And, there are also have A la carte menu too. Tips, if you are going in a group of 5, order a package for 2-3 then add on from the A la carte menu. Trust me, it is sufficient and you also get to try dishes that are not included in the menu. Overall I'm very satisfy eating at Happy City Steamboat. DELICIOUSSSSS....
We’ve eaten here for almost a decade (and also at their old branch in SS3) – and the food here never missed the mark. Lan Je is truly one of the best neighbourhood restaurants in Kota Damansara. RECOMMENDED!
Restaurant Lan Je steamed fish is famous for their signature Steamed Tilapia Fish and once featured on 8Tv’s popular food program “ Ho Chak ”.
The Dim Sum here is of standard since I started eating five years ago.
Still a better choice for dim sum, hits and misses but generally the food is not bad and prices are affordable.
Yitcha Kaw Kaw Kopitiam remains popular as a breakfast and lunch spot and I think they will do well as long as they keep up with the good service and food quality. Besides they are located at one of the more busy and bustling spots in Damansara Utama/Uptown.
Hidden in a little known street, in a little knowns suburb is a little gem of a kopitiam that hard to evoke an old world charm. Drive a few rounds only found it.
Pork set ~RM 65 (me thinks). It was a set meant for 2 to 3 person. Frankly speaking, I think we may have overestimated us both with this. The set did come with quite a lot of more, even for us who eats a fair bit. Mostly veggie but not that little of meat. The pork were thinly sliced so cooked fast in the boiling soup. The ingredients were quite fresh. We just didn't know how to cook/eat that bowl with an egg and raw minced meat. Nobody offered an explanation so we kinda winged it by mixing it up then throwing it in, bit by bit into the soup. They turned out quite good as the meat was a mix of tendon (me thinks again), julienne carrot, fats and minced pork. Will definitely come back again on a rainy day but not go overboard with the set.
We had selected 2 soups: clear soup (清汤) and tom yam soup(冬炎),The soups are superb! This signature Tom Yam soup is highly recommended
Overall Rating : Food : 4.5/5 Price : 3.5/5 Service : 3.5/5 Ambiance : 3.5/5
Penang Curry Noodle is a new stall. Overall, it went well with the Kopi O.
Although the food here seems to be simple hawker fare, I truly appreciate how Fook Kee injects elements of creativity into each dish to enhance its taste, texture and flavour. If you are up for good quality yet affordable cheap eats, here's the right place to have your hearty breakfast or lunch.
"培福麵家 Pei Fok Special Wantan Mee" comes with 40+years of Wantan Mee experience with its initial location in Kepong's 柏兰花园 Kepong Indah Perdana and 2nd outlet in Kota Damansara!
Dry Char Siew Wantan Mee (Large), 8.60 ringgit. As for its taste, it tasted good. I do not like wantan noodles that are thick in size and thankfully, the ones served here are thin to medium. Soaked with kechup with about 8,9 relatively thick strips of pork meat. If you do not fancy pork meat for today, there is always chicken and fried dumpling meat to satisfy you.
In a nutshell, I most likely would not be a returning customer and having experienced the food and service myself, I now know why bloggers go through the pain of blogging about this place, it is clearly to forewarn others but once again, taste is a matter of personal preference and they do have their own group of loyal customers who find the food here to be good. But service, is a common thing and what happened to me today was just not acceptable. As for me, it's a clear no and I am not alone in saying this as all the reviews on Foursquare also points to the same. Do also not that despite their opening hours published says that they open from 7 am until 5pm daily, they only open at 7.30 am and by 4 pm, they do not accept anymore customers. Even when I was here today, at 3.45 pm, they had turned away a number of customers.
A plate of overcooked, soggy noodles can quickly spoil one’s appetite but this stall didn’t. It’s noodles were springy and made the meal absolutely enjoyable. The Char Siew ( barbecued pork ) soft. Just perfect. So delicious 😋 RM 7.90
We can’t compare this to the OG stall in Subang as we have not tried that yet, but we enjoyed these two plates very much! It had enough ‘wok hei’, good portions and was very flavourful!

Jojo's is a chain of noodles shops in Kuala Lumpur that specialises in pan mee (板麺), which translates into "flat flour noodles". This is a completely inadequate name that fails to encapsulate the glorious deliciousness that pan mee actually is. A symphony of taste and texture, pan mee is composed of seasoned pork mince, runny poached egg, fried anchovies (they call it ikan bilis), chili sambal, potato leaves and freshly made noodles. The result is one of the most addictive dishes I've ever eaten.
Verdict: We left Kong Yeah Dim Sum feeling quite letdown as we can get better quality food with the price charged. Safe to say that, there’ll be no repeat visit. ●︿●
My order - noodle in clear soup at MYR 9.90 nett and it tastes just as tasty before.
