I find myself re-visiting "Nasi Lemak Taiping Boy's" nasi lemak with squid again
This ckt (MYR 6.50 nett) and coconut (MYR 5.50 nett) is ordered from Chow Yang Kopitiam, SS2 PJ. The ckt is a bit wet and I prefer it to be on the dry side but still decent enough.
The 3 shop-lot Chow Yang Kopitiam offers many choices and great destination at least for breakfast in the morning with lots of available free MBPJ parking early in the morning.
Managed by a couple, its the corner first hawker in the 3-shop-lot Chow Yang Kopitiam. Well, no Pork, no Pork lard, no Porky sausage, still ok lar for a quick breakfast.
Generally satisfactory, I did like the spicy with some sweetness in the chili sauce as the beef meat dip.
Definitely a lot of variety all day long, I am trying the Penang Har Mee, just great.
Prawn Mee - MYR 6.50 nett at the Chow Yang Coffee Shop, SS2, PJ. I like it because it is not spicy but my friend thinks it needs to be more hot and spicy to taste good. The pork slices look more like those in pork noodles. They are not those very thin and lean pork slices one usually find in Penang Prawn Mee but to me, this prawn mee tastes very nice.
Personal Opinion If you want variety, you've certainly come to the right place....just not everything is good though. I've only scratched the surface of what the many stalls here offer. I guess I'll have to work through the many stalls here to see which ones I like. For now, I'm pretty happy with this surprisingly worthy find of a good Penang Hokkien (aka Prawn) Mee while the Mee Jawa would be my other choice.
