The Hokkien mee was prawny, sticky and very flavourful – the stock was good. Even the chilli had a good hae bi fragrance. Prawns were fresh and sweet. Unexpectedly very nice.
If judging by best value for price paid, there’s nothing like the size or ingredients of these show-stoppers! I’m also amazed by how much seafood Sumo Big Prawn is able to pile into every bowl.
If i am to compare the values, the Crayfish Bee Hoon Soup is definitely of a better value as compared to the Lobster Bee Hoon Soup but the Sumo Big Prawn Bee Hoon Soup is more worth it as it is served with 4 pieces of relatively fresh big prawns at just $8.
3-Star (out of 5). The soup was superb today - we finished every drop of the deep and richly flavourful broth from all the four bowls we tasted.
