Pork (Pai Kuat Wong) - medium portion - MYR 22 nett.
尽管食物的素质不怎么样,但胜在价格大众化,上菜的速度也很快,所以还是有不少人喜欢来这里聚餐的。
New Paris Restaurant at SS2, PJ.
If you like slightly sweet savory perhaps caramelized juicy tender Charsiew, then SS2's "Toast & Roast" will be a perfect alternative.
Pork green curry seems something definitely worth sampling in the future.
Yessss, the char siew here was utterly yummy. Sweet and succulent, tender and juicy. Notice the size of each piece? Yea, the pieces of char siew here are large.
What do We Like about Ipoh Ipoh SS 2? -We like the chee cheong fun’s sauce and the tomato soup base
Overall, we recommend the hor fun here as the noodles are probably the best in town, with soup that is perfectly balanced in sweetness and umami. The quality was consistent too during our two visits.
My portion of kai see hor fun. The broth is thick and flavourful.
♥Verdict: A worthy addition of pork noodle place other than our usual one but I really hope that they can solve the unpleasant odour problem before my next visit.

Every thing was good except the soup base was a little too salty to my liking.
Pasta stirfried local style so it tastes like mee goreng. Very flavourful. From the ala carte menu, it costs MYR 15.80+ (6% SST = MYR 16.75 nett) from Brew House, SS2, PJ.
Customers do come here for the food and beer.
A portion of Moo Ping (3 sticks) for MYR 14.80 nett. The pork meat is well marinated, is very soft and pinkish though it was well cooked so I don't think I will order it again.
Overall, the only thing I really enjoyed was BBQ-ing their skewered marshmallows (RM1 per skewer – 3 pieces) on the pit. I’ve never had such an evenly roasted marshmallows ever! The bill came up to RM106.80 for two. Though yes I did order both BBQ and steamboat, I left the place unsatisfied. I felt that it was rather pricey and the food wasn’t extraordinarily good to command such pricing. Give me Korean BBQ any day (and cheaper too!). Also, I noticed when paying, the area where they prepared the food wasn’t really clean and hygienic. Hence, with the above in mind, I probably wouldn’t come back again.
BBQ Bar is a newly opened barbecue place in SS2 that serves lamb, beef and pork meat. Meat will be the highlight of the shop in addition to many other different kinds of selection such as seafood,…

"Wake me Up" seems to offer a lot more food choice compared to "Augmented Cafe" (I think), but today I am just having a cuppa of Latte which is very nicely done by the owner/coffee barista.
Luckily for me, this cafe serves chicken and prawn hor fun in soup at MYR 9.80 nett. Decent enough except that the soup is rather oily.
Wake Me Up is a neighbourhood café that’s peaceful & simple that has a very family friendly vibe & home-made feel. There’s really nothing fancy or pretentious in their menu. It’s mainly set up to cater to the residents in the surrounding area since it’s located away from the main busy SS2 commercial…
We ordered a steamed pork patty, bitter gourd with pork and a steamed tofu with pork minced. The pork patty and bitter gourd pork came with a bowl of rice. The portion of the foods were not too huge but enough to feed two persons. Taste wise, the pork patty had salted egg in it so it was good. Bitter gourd pork was also well braised and the thick sauce went well with the rice.
And to end the meal with a RM3 coffee caramel pudding (delicious). Where else in Petaling Jaya can you get this at this price?
My order: bitter gourd pork ribs dish and half a bowl of rice at MYR 11 nett. There are many pieces of bitter gourd in this dish which I like.
Wide range of food, okay taste, fast service.
The chicken leg was huge and crispy! Very satisfying 🙂 The nasi lemak set came with hard boiled egg, some cucumber, ikan bilis, peanuts and sambal, the sambal was quite spicy.
Overall, we enjoyed the Manicai Bihun and Kampua Mee here the most. While not in our top three, the Sarawak Laksa here is still above average and should please most.
In the busy SS2/Sea Park area, you’ll find a new restaurant called Slurrp, gaining popularity for its authentic Sarawakian food. We recently visited during lunch, and it was packed. Let’s talk about what we ordered and how it tasted.
my opinion is quite average in size, and taste.
All your favourites, brinjal, ladies' fingers, bitter gourd etc with generous portions of fish cake.
Overall it was really vibe and relaxing, a great place to yamcha with friends too!.
Nice place, quiet on weekdays and good service.

My order: Nasi Lemak Mutton Curry - MYR 15.90 nett. Barley drink at MYR 3.50 nett. My total lunch costs MYR 19.40 nett. They have two versions of sambal - spicy and not that spicy. All of us chose the spicy ones because the not-that-spicy sambal is sweet rather than salty as told to us. Quite a decent nasi lemak. I find a few pieces of Star Anise in the mutton curry which I accidentally chewed and had to spit out which is quite troublesome. The mutton is tender enough but the curry is heavy with the taste of Star Anise which some people may not like. The plate has rattan patterns printed on it to pretend to be a rattan plate.
Yup, I wanted a bao burger and I got it. The charcoal bao was soft and ‘bouncy’, the patty was made up of a good chunk of boneless fried chicken with some mayo. I’d usually need some chili sauce to go with it but here, it was not necessary as it tasted good enough on its own.
