Seafood Aglio Olio (RM 22) One of the must to have here is the Seafood Aglio Olio. The perfectly tossed Linguine is served with the generous shrimps, garlic, squids as well as chili and parsley. The dish comes simply impressive where they are cooked al-dente and comes with the light kick of spiciness in it.

Verdict: The food we had was just mediocre but I know there are people who love their food but definitely not me. The long waiting time and the uncomfortable dining environment (outdoor seats) most probably the main factors that deter me for a revisit.

The latest outlet to join the Grand Imperial Group is located on the 9th Floor of Pavilion Elite. While it does serve the usual Chinese fares like dim sum, roast meats and oriental dishes, what’s very appealing to me is their Seafood Hotpot Hong Kong-style. Most of the seafood offered are live ones swimming in tanks in the restaurant.

Unfortunately, I've realised that their food quality is totally crappy when they have tour buses pouring in. When it happens, their kitchen is not able to handle the crowd. EVERYTHING we had was practically bland. BKT soup tasted as though they added water. Chicken Rice Wine tasted bitter, just the flavour of the wine and nothing else - where is the ginger? I could barely taste any ginger. All in all, it's crap.

The Butter Kailan was another delicious dish. I’ve never had kailan cut into suck tiny pieces and fried that they resembled tiny bits of green paper. That was how thin each pieces was, no joke. This rice bowl was real good, I had a jolly good time eating it. It consisted of an egg, grilled chicken in teriyaki sauce, capsicum and rice. The teriyaki sauce was sweet-ish and when given a nice mix with all the other items in the bowl, you’d get a nice gooey, sticky, sweet rice bowl. Sticky thanks to the egg, it helped gel all the ingredients together. There were plenty of soft, chewy, boneless chicken, enough to last till the last spoon. The capsicum was an added bonus because it added texture, provided a ‘crunch’ to the whole dish. Very nice. Yum.
