A seafood-laden favourite dish prepared together with chunks of crab meats and HK Chinese sausage along with the bright, orange and gooey look crab roe is a good choice of carbs for the night.

This famous Chinese restaurant at the Singapore Orchard Hotel is a stalwart on the dining scene. They have arrangements for delivery or food pickup from the hotel driveway which is always our preference whenever it is available.
This noodle chain apparently commands long lines back in Malaysia, mainly for a broth that is made from forty different kinds of local fish bones (313 Orchard Road #B3-37, 6363-5323). So I was disappointed when I took a sip of it to find that it wasn't anywhere as savory as I would've thought, and in fact was slightly sweet.
Food at GO Noodle House is Malaysian Chinese cuisine, focused on soup noodles with their signature broth. The menu is extensive, with a good range. Quality of dishes is consistent, tasty and delicious.
Good texture going on with the toppings but the noodles on their own weren't impressive at all.
The Dragon Chamber provides guerrilla-style Chinese cuisine. They want to stretch the diners comfort zone serving unconventional Chinese food
Overall, I find the food and dining experience at TDC memorable. I am unable to appreciate the Szechuan influence in some dishes, however, the rest of the dishes are great.

Overall, Nanjing Impressions deliver a traditional Nanjing dining experience.

Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro is a beautiful Chinese restaurant located on the 35th floor of the Mandarin Orchard Hotel. This space was formerly occupied by the Pine Court Chinese restaurant.
My first encounter with Kai Duck restaurant was during the pandemic when I realized the huge lunch crowd waiting for entry either for East Ocean Restaurant or Kai Duck.
Nice and exquisite food. The Peking duck was superb – fatty, crispy, fragrant and juicy.
Was quite taken in by their braised pork knuckle in fermented bean curd sauce.
Crystal Jade Palace at Takashimaya Shopping Centre and Crystal Jade Golden Palace at Paragon mall has recently refreshed their menu with new tantalizing dishes crafted by Group Executive Chef Martin Foo. We were there for a dinner tasting and here are some of the highlights from the two restaurants:
Crystal Jade's fine dining restaurant, Crystal Jade Palace, has reopened its doors with a refreshed look and menu.
I couldn't really enjoy the different components in the husk together to associate it to the chendol dessert, as I ended up tackling the elements individually.
Din Tai Fung: Indulge in global culinary excellence at the renowned Chinese restaurant. Michelin-starred delights, including iconic Xiao Long Bao.
I am not sure how long this has been on the menu at Din Tai Fung, but I got it precisely because it was green and a departure from the usual egg fried rice behind it. It had a nice light fragrance, but was also light on the seasoning, making for quite a contrast with Ohsho's chahan.
Din Tai Fung - The Paragon Shopping Centre is simply one of the very best restaurants in Singapore - amazing quality at very reasonable prices
The nicest dish was the sweet and sour pork on ice, providing an intriguing melange of textures and temperature, with the crisp and cold batter surrounding warm and flavourful insides, and well balanced sweet and sour flavours.
Overall I would totally recommend for you to check out Social Place because it is fun, modern and had good dishes to boot which delights not just the tastebuds but other senses as well.
It's an Instagram worthy place to visit for foodies.
Overall, the standard of the food is similar to the outlets in Hong Kong and it is great we do not have to travel to Hong Kong just to get some of these Hong Kong favourites.
We tried two of the several dishes listed in the Signatures section. From the side the Tsui Wah Signature pork chop bun looked like a hamburger (picture above), such as one from Shake Shack. The differences lie in the bun (which had been lightly toasted to give it a mild crusty surface) and the meat (which was a nicely seasoned piece of pork).
Tsui Wah – Hong Kong at Orchard Heeren
3 dimsum + a really excellent “tonkotsu” kurobuta ramen for S$28 very good value👍 service by all the servers outstanding too!
I have always enjoyed a good bowl of La Mian from Paradise Group's of restaurants.
Anyway I highly recommend for everyone to go to this flagship and have a taste of their Rainbow Xiao Long Baos, the wantons and noodles!
The environment was clean and well decorated with friendly staff around. It served as a good place for casual meals and special occasions too.
Their extensive menu comprises a mix of both traditional and street-style foods as well as a variety of bubble teas, fruit teas and specially curated desserts which are Instagram-worthy.
Typhoon Cafe at Plaza Singapura has very attractively priced lunch deals on Mondays to Thursdays. That would be a good reason to have lunch there.
All in all, the food was tasty and strongly flavoured plus we got acquainted with a new fish name. Price point could be better though.
Ambience at Tan Yu 探鱼 is modern industrial, with a grungy street feel.
There was a green pepper limbo fish that was not bad.
Celebrate this Chinese New Year with Chinese F&B group Crystal Jade with their festive dishes and menus available for dine-in and takeaway.
Enjoyed their char siew bao. Skin was soft and fluffy enveloping that scalding meaty sweetness inside. Nicely done if I might say.
餐厅在第五楼,来到餐厅外即可见到入口处高悬着耀眼的米其林星~
Fatty unctuous Peking duck. Exquisite traditional dim sum. Nice.
Overall, Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck restaurant is one of the restaurants you must visit for an authentic Peking Duck experience in Singapore. The rest of the dishes will leave you in culinary heaven, however, it will also make your wallet lighter as well. Cheers!!
we enjoyed the food but thus place is too expensive..like S$450 for 7pax if no vouchers
Did you know that Dancing Crab offers Value Lunch Sets on Mondays to Fridays from 11:30am to 2:30pm? The value lunches offered at Dancing Crab are pretty affordable in the price range of $18++ to $19++ with seafood included.

When it comes to Singaporean cuisine, few dishes are as iconic as Hainanese Chicken Rice. This delectable dish, with its succulent chicken and fragrant rice, has found its way into the hearts and stomachs of locals and tourists alike. But did you know that nestled on the second floor of Lucky Plaza, there's a hidden gem waiting to be discovered? Lucky Chicken Rice, a humble eatery, serves up this classic dish.
The hor fun was really smooth and slippery, and came with a really mushroomy savoury sauce and fragrant fried shallots. I could polish off just the hor fun itself. The chicken was decent – slightly tough and requiring the chilli to lift its flavours.
After reading so many positive reviews online, I was slightly disappointed by my experience at Lucky Chicken Rice.
Overall I was pleased with Song Fa Bak Kut Teh’s delivery service.
The Homemade Prawn Roll ($8.50) was pretty decent, juicy, flavourful and scrumptious.
5 reviews of Song Fa Bak Kut Teh "Relatively new branch of Song Fa that I would recommend people to go to instead of the original stall (the one at New Bridge Road). It is much roomier than the New Bridge while still offering same quality (you…
