A multi-stall hawker Kopitiam that offers Dim Sum stall that is definitely worth visiting is in Puchong's Taman Putra Impiana.
The Chinese/Taiwanese hawker stall in SS15's Restoran Kwai Sun offers an acceptable good bowl of "爌肉麵 Braised Pork Belly Noodle" at rm$7.50 that comes with 3 good size pieces of Pork Belly.
Best to get the Siew Bao just out of the oven and have it with an Ice White Coffee in Restoran Kwai Sun!
The meat and meatball here is fresh - the meatballs for order are still soft and chilled, they somehow manage not to freeze anything. My favorite chilled item is the homemade shrimp dumpling and the tau foo pok.
Among all, the beef meatball, pork meatball and prawn dumpling were our favorites. And of course there’s a buffet section where the vegetables and other common steamboat ingredients are laid out.
火锅吃够后可以吃软雪糕,这里的雪糕也有让我惊喜,以吃到饱自助餐厅的素质来说是非常不错的。
This is a another eating place that would not want to miss in Subang Jaya area. It’s a handmade Chinese noodle restaurant, Uncle Seng that is well known among the students and white collar workers in SS 15.
Personally, I think it wasn't too bad but it will be awhile before I will come back for second round of other offerings from Uncle Seng!
This was my first time encountering a noodle so lacking in confidence in its own taste that required so much additional seasoning to make it taste better. And the better here actually means less sucky. Definitely not a returning customer here.
Some say that LFC is the Chinese style "Nasi Kandar", the rm$12 signature dish comes with a drumstick as well as a chicken thigh, some vege on the side and lots of mixed home-made curry (tend to be on the sweet side).
The fried chicken was worth the wait, on the plate were also long beans and a fried egg and on the side curry sauce plus sambal
This is a simple dish that is done right, which I thoroughly enjoy. The food is also reasonably priced, with both the rice and chee cheong fun plates costing RM 10.80 each.
Regardless of my opinion; the shop was packed with customers waiting for their bowl of Pork Noodles. Needless to say, the "Wait Long Long Pork Noodle" stall does have its die-hard fans! So, do try it youself lor!
I find the dumpling today more satisfying than the "Wait Long Long Pork Noodle" which was another disappointment on the 3rd visit.
No doubt the pork broth was very tasty, a bit salty likely due to the MSG; not a choice for eating out nowadays!
Fried rice specially place. Worth a try if you are nearby and fried rice fan, but don't come all the way just for this.
实话实说,我吃过更好吃的炒饭。 可是,这家炒饭,还是相当好吃。
All in all, a pleasant experience and they deserve every bit of accolade due to them.
Today is just trying out its dessert; the unique taste of the "薄荷枇杷冻 Chilled Putian Loquat in Herbal Jelly" was an excellent choice. Others were ok!
The original Ipoh Tuck Kee since 1963. Famous in noodles and rice. There is a new branch in Subang Jaya, don’t need go to Ipoh for it. Of course it serve the same dishes as the other Tuck Kee branch in Ipoh and Selangor.
We ordered the famous Fried Hokkien Mee which was fried with a lot of wok hei. The Ipoh Bean Sprouts taste better during dine-in as the one I ordered for takeaway was horrible with everything looking blackish! The Cantonese Koay Teow was to die for! The gravy was thick and full of eggs. They are also not stingy with the ingredients. We finished every drop of the gravy too!
Overall, we thought the KSHF here was quite decent albeit inconsistent. It might be the best KSHF you can find in the Subang area (do make a suggestion if you disagree). However, skip the Assam Laksa.
我点了叉烧蛋炒饭,上桌时尝了一口果然锅气十足,饭也炒得粒粒分明再加上一颗半生熟的荷包蛋,更添滋味。
"豆香 The Soybean Factory" has a lot more foot prints in Klang Valley than any other Trendy new Soy Bean or Tau Fu Fah shops!
Mongolian Style Wok Tossed Australian Lamb Ribs with Pickled Chilli and Cucumber Ribbons RM45 No regret. It was sooo delicious! Really enjoyed the Australian lamb ribs coated in sticky sweet, smoky sauce, with faint hint of spiciness. Minimal gaminess, just wonderful tenderness in every bite. Wish to have some steamed bun to mop up all the leftover sauce. Even Summergirl gave thumbs up for this. Must-try when you are in Jibby Chow.
It was a great visit to Jibby Chow, the food was delicious, none has disappointed me, the ambiance was nice, and the staffs were friendly and really attentive, even before I came as a blogger!
An overall disappointment of the food sampled as all are highly recommended dishes by the waiter.
For beer bite today, sampling the rm$18 "香脆沙嘴鱼 Cripsy Sha Zui Fish", comfort food, deep fried crispy but beware of the fish bones; and definitely a good beer bite choice.
Come to think of it, don't mind coming back here for this particular recipe in their menu!
This new joint has a strong and thick broth. Both the taste and fragrance were sharp.
生肉面 Sang Nyuk Mee/Mian, an iconic food of 沙巴 Sabah (東馬來西亞 East Malaysia), and the word "Sang Nyuk" literally means "客家話 Raw Pork" in Hakka.
The restaurant offers almost all porky menu, first either choose between dry (konlo) or soup, next choose between yellow noodles, koay teow, rice, rat noodles or combinations, lastly either original (with intestines) or pork slices w/pork balls.
We are lucky to be here on a Friday because this Red Wine Mee Suah at MYR 13 nett is only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I like this dish - not very salty, light alcohol taste, and nice ginger taste with lots of julienned ginger.
Today's choice of 亞木麵(煮麵) Ah Muk Noodle but I think that the common name maybe is called 福州炒煮面 which is "先炒后焖", the noodle/mee is first fried and then stew!
"蛋燕麵 Long Yan" is a 福州 Fuzhou style "egg" noodle, the original style is likely a flat noodle (like pan mee).
The Bursting meat ball wasn't as tasty but pork slice was nice. Interesting creation but quite expensive!
Perhaps one of cleanest and well decorated Mixed Rice Shop in town.
CRG's signatures are their "鴛鴦雞飯 Yin Yang Chicken Rice" and "辣炸鴨 Spicy Fried Duck"!
It's sweet Cha Siew sauce (quite oily) and comes with lots of minced pork and sliced Cha Siew, despite being oily but it is a likable dish.
SRK noodle house offers a variety of authentic noodle variants from Sarawak for folks in PJ Section 14, Puchong Bandar Puteri as well as SS15 (3 shops).
Not disappointed, everything just so so.
At Jeremy’s Chicks, they aim to please with their comfort food, including authentic Hainanese Poached Roasted and other chicken varieties to serves all chicken rice lovers in Malaysia, along with other offering such as Wanton Noodles, Pak Choy, Fish Balls Soup, Dim Sum and other sides to comply with the need !
