Putien’s dishes can be expensive, but they are worth the splurge once in awhile. I especially love the bian rou soup, and can see myself coming back often just to have a bowl of hearty, comforting soup.

I really enjoyed the dishes from Putien, and wouldn’t mind ordering again since there are many different items I’ve yet to try on the menu. Some interesting ones include Putien Lor Mee (braised noodles), Deep Fried Pork Trotters with Salt & Pepper, Ca Fen (meesua, noodles and bihoon mix), and Sweet & Sour Pork with Lychees.

Noodles were silky with a slight bite, but can be slurped easily. Chopped parsley added a hint of fragrance. Bokchoy was also thick and fat. Now I know why their outlets are so popular! Food: 9/10! Ambience: No frills, 7/10. Not for lounging around coz the shop is always busy (especially on weekends) and waiters will be eyeing like a hawk to clear your table. Service: 7/10 Price: RM10+

有間面館實在太多家分店了，無論坐落在何處其實口感差別不大。這家店在IOI City Mall，假日來或許會大排場龍。 Menu： 501 三鮮湯板面(撕)

Rice is a staple in Chinese cuisine, and the cheese, is, of course, a very Western ingredient. Despite all the seemingly different ingredients/styles, they blend together surprisingly well to create a harmonious dish that is hearty and delicious. This is the kind of service I commonly get from mamak shops and also kopitiams namely Old Town and Kluang. They just want me to go to the cashier's counter. I wonder if this is their modus operandi or just plain bad service!

The food in general is good and the steamed seafood hotpot is a bit pricey. If you are not a big fan of the seafood, you can order other food without the steamed seafood hotpot and the food prices here will be reasonable. Siong Tong Gai IOI Puchong Mall is worth to visit, just order what you think you prefer and be there early to avoid the queue.
