The Baked Shell-Less Escargot is one of my favourites here. The escargots are just as nice as it is and they are baked till perfection with the garlic butter sauce. They are beautifully done which makes it to be one of our favourite place for some escargot.
Overall, i think they are priced very well, and a must visit.
The Deep-fried Brie Cheese Balls were full of rich creamy cheesy goodness. I particularly loved the sweet red onion ginger chutney served as it cuts through some of the richness of brie.
The Papperdelle Umami XL (RM38.00) on the other hand, had a whole load of fantastic flavors. Pardon me, I'm raving about black truffles again. The papperdelle had perfect folds - not too chewy; not too thick, with a good sprinkle of salted kombu (or known as kelp - I googled). This dish may look simple, with just a handful of ingredients, but the execution - the tiny details, shined in this dish.
Reasons to visit Bref TTDI: Head Chef Lim Wei Han’s new four-course seasonal menu, which captures all the artistry you’d expect from a Darren Chin restaurant, in a comfortable space for memory-making.
[Main]- Australian grass-fed rib eye steak au poivre (280-300gms) (RM 120.00) An Australian grass-fed rib eye steak with roasted celeriac cream, buttered kale. To me, this dish is just "so-so", no Wow factor. Maybe an aged Wagyu can impress me. The size is just right for two pax, but if you are a bodybuilder, the portion is awesome for your gains.
Overall, we loved the food and the pricing is reasonable if you compare to other similar restaurants located in this part of Klang Valley. Maybe it is time for us to revisit Topshelf TTDI French Restaurant again?
Overall, the food is good and unpretentious like I mentioned earlier. I would say its quite a suitable place for birthdays and gathering if you’re looking for somewhere casual and not upscale. Portion sizes were good as well and price point not too high!
Taste:9/10(Delicious. I like two of their dishes the most. The pan seared salmon belly and mushroom soup with truffle. Both are well done and taste very good. As for the crispy aromatic duck, its not that crispy but the meat is tender. Taste wise is good with combination with the sauce and vegetables. The dessert of dark chocolate mousse is creative and well thought).
Reasons to try DC Restaurant’s CMCO seasonal vegetarian menu: exquisite experience from start to finish; this team pays attention to detail – setting, service, wine and food – all are superb; it’s one of the few places I’ve been to that exceeds my expectations in terms of increased safety measures such as the fact that every staff member correctly wore their face mask 100% of the time. Those things are uncomfortable, I appreciate the effort.
Reasons to visit DC Restaurant by Darren Chin: a must on every fine dining connoisseur’s list.; flavours are deep and layered, like fine wine, of which they have an impressive selection; exceptional service; must try the cheese plate, do order the wagyu and uni fans won’t want to miss the very special (and seasonal) Hokkaido Bafun Uni.
Reasons to visit Delia Wines & Bistro TTDI: charming setting; hearty bistro-style French cuisine; must order cheese or cold cuts platters with a good bottle of wine; well-chosen French wine; always a different plate of the day to discover.
Their cordon bleu was a unique offering to the regular cafe scene.
Whole Roasted Lemon Sole Another delicious item to go here for meat lover includes their W hole Roasted Lemon Sole which is just amazingly perfect. The tender moist chicken meat which is perfectly infused with the flavours in it. Tender and juicy and I am just loving them so much.
