Retry this HK cafe after a while, seems to be popular with lunch crowd. I think the lunch meals are decent, yinyong coffee too much milk, and teatime items so so.
Beef brisket soup noodle. Where do I begin? With the delightful soup, the work of hours boiling away? Or the tender beef that's almost melts in the mouth? Or the noodles that are the least to look forward to. Quite a nice bowl of noodles. Not very strong with herb taste but more of the beef.
Fu Wah restaurant is an authentic Hong Kong Style Restaurant which serves a variety of classic Hong Kong cuisine. The chef has more than 40 years of cooking experience and he can make really really good egg tarts. The egg tarts here are all freshly baked daily.
Verdict: The tong shui is decent. Prices are average for a resto of this setting. Service is quite slow. It took awhile for our orders to come to the table, despite the shop being empty.
What do We Like about Mak's Chee Authentic Wanton? -Delicious springy wanton noodle and wanton -Soup base full of flavor and umami taste -Many possible combinations to choose from. From beef, pork, prawn, prawn roe, dried, soup, dumpling, wanton, thin to thick noodle
And madam got this order of rice with pork lard and luncheon meat. The rice was quite stodgy, taste was so so. I loved the runny eggs and the soy sauce that was served separately. The luncheon meat was good, not too salty at all.
This is something you would order if you want the best of both worlds, the wantan mee and the prawn wantans as well as prawn sui kow with black fungus. The noodles was totally dry, unlike the usual wantan mee which is served with dark sauce except this was dry so that we can feel the fragrance of the prawn roe. The prawn dumplings are to die for, absolutely heavenly. Quite worth the price since they gave about 6 dumplings instead of 4 pieces like in other fine dining wantan mee restaurants.
The value meal set is too good to bypass so I ordered a bowl of wanton noodles soup with a glass of iced honey chrysanthemum drink from the set menu. This set included a char siew bao and the total price is MYR 15.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 17.50 nett). As usual I kept half portion of the noodles and the whole bao for dinner.
Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert Restaurant could be a place for a quick meal to refuel you during lunch time. Currently having four outlets in Kuala Lumpur.
Overall, the food we had was enjoyable and reasonably priced for the portion you get. Frankly speaking, I had my reservations before coming here due to the reviews I read on their FB page. But as it turned out, almost everything was more than satisfying and even exceeded my expectations for a chain restaurant. My dining partners, some of them who had eaten at Sheng Kee a couple of times before this, also agreed that the meal experience we had was better than what they had previously.
The meat and meatball here is fresh - the meatballs for order are still soft and chilled, they somehow manage not to freeze anything. My favorite chilled item is the homemade shrimp dumpling and the tau foo pok.
Among all, the beef meatball, pork meatball and prawn dumpling were our favorites. And of course there’s a buffet section where the vegetables and other common steamboat ingredients are laid out.
火锅吃够后可以吃软雪糕,这里的雪糕也有让我惊喜,以吃到饱自助餐厅的素质来说是非常不错的。
Really good Chinese dessert stall, affordable price, big portion full of ingredients, and taste good.
Instead of 香港奶茶 Hong Kong Milk Tea, it is the rm$5.90 "熱杏仁茶 Hot Almond Tea" as today is the debut of a series of Almond Tea in their new menu
点了一道未曾见过的料理,乳酪咖喱,干酪加咖喱口味,不会别扭,相当好吃。
Nissin Noodles with Egg and Ham ~ My noodles in a doggie bowl :) Noodle are springy and soup is tasty.
It was a very big portion of rice (I like!) with many tiny cubes of ox tongue and the wok hei aroma was wonderful. The fried egg as you can see in the background was pathetic.
My main course. Fried beef koay teow which I have eaten twice (and enjoyed) via Grabfood. Oh yes, it was wonderful, hot off the wok. I helped myself to the delicious chili oil. Ah! So good!
Pretty good place for Hong Kong style afternoon tea within Starling Mall.
Hong Kong Hot Pot at Telawi Square Bangsar offers premium hot pot experience with good food and good service. The prices of the food here is slightly high due to the quality of the food as well as the location too since this is Bangsar. On top of the food, you can also book for the karaoke room depending on how many pax and this is first come first serve basis.
You can tell that we were happy with the food. That’s because it was really a pleasant experience. In fact, this was one of the best steamboat meals we have had so far and I can’t really believe it’s at Bangsar.
There are a few recommendations by my friend that I should visit Hong Kong Hot Pot (香港热锅) a try, where their ingredients are made fresh along with their amazing soup. I have to agree with most of my friends after paying them a visit.
The kids couldn't get enough of the Cheese-baked rice with chicken cutlet (RM22.80) - we love the cheese, so rich and good, they said! The chicken cutlet, which is similar to chicken katsu was moist and juicy with a nice golden, crispy exterior.
So for those of you who would like to have some different cuisines, try some of these yunmy Hong Kong cuisine at EATZ@HongKong… You won’t regret it.. It is seriously somewhere I will go back to for more…
Mala Spicy Fishball in Dry Noodle (RN15.80) – Dry Nissin Noodle with Mala Spicy Fishball which I enjoyed a lot with a side of steamed vegetables.
The option for soup were very subjective. I chose Tomato soup because I have had Spicy Mala Soup earlier, it was savoury, hot and satisfying. So I would like to try their Tomato Soup too. Compare to mild tomato soup, it was not that savoury , so if you can eat spicy, go for Mala Soup.
Fei Fan HotPot offers buffet steamboat. What’s better than spicy hotpot that goes in hot and comes out hotter ? Unlimited refills at a fixed price, of course !
Considering the price plus quality of food, I'd give a thumbs up to this one and the fact that it is in Sunway Pyramids Mall.
For a set lunch meal that includes soup, drinks, and fruits at around $15-$20 is generally a good price especially at "big malls" like Sunway Pyramids.
Rating Taste: 7/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Service:8/10 Value:7/10 Overall:7/10
Exactly the same menu and Dim Sum choices, and items sampled today were above average. My opinion, quite dependable Dim Sum location, so far!
Overall, we had a good meal at Jin Xuan Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant and are quite happy with our dim sum.

Both the Chicken feet and Fish sauce fried rice noodles are well done!
Lion’s head Meatballs is a dish that is made to depict Lions head so don’t freak out just yet as it’s made out of pork and not lions. This Chinese dish is made out of enormous pork meatballs stewed with vegetables. There are two versions: first, the plain one where meatballs are stewed or steamed with Napa cabbages and second, the red version where it is cooked with cabbage, bamboo shoots or tofu in a soy-sauce-based sauce. The large meatball resembles lion’s head and the chinese cabbage as its mane. It originated from the Jiangsu province and it later a popular Shanghai cuisine with the influx of migrants during the late 19th to early 20th century. Review: 6 / 10 👍👍😋😋 Opening Hours: 07:00am - 09:30pm
I accompany my friends who wanted to eat lunch at Kim Gary, Midvalley Mall. I ordered a set lunch of beef steak pasta with black pepper sauce at MYR 14.90+ (10% service tax = MYR 16.40 nett) which included soup and drink. I kept half of the pasta for dinner but ate all the steak as the beef steak is just two thin slices of beef marinated in black pepper sauce. I left most of the sauce uneaten.
When we walked out of the restaurant, we noticed that there was a long queue waiting to get in as always. I think there is always a long queue because the price for the sets is quite good and there are many lunch set choices but as the food is too flavouful for me, I seldom eat here unless my friends wanted to have their meals here.
What do We Like about Loong Cafe, One Utama? -The many selection of Hong Kong style breakfast and lunch foods -The affordable price and set lunch
A nourishing bowl of double-boiled papaya with Tremella will be good if you are looking for a warm dessert.
Chicken sam sou soup. Dine-in 16 on Wednesday 16 Sep 2020 d183.
I just happened to have their member card which comes at an annual fee of RM10 and they give you this voucher booklet with freebies for each month of the year. It's a good marketing trick, really. Give people something free that costs relatively low in the first place and get them to come to your shop to order more stuff.
试了好几样,差的比好的多,很让我失望呢!
