Verdict: Satisfying flavours and portion, we enjoyed immensely the food we had and would highly recommend this place if you’re at this area.
Food was good and acceptable. I will likely return to try other brunch and dessert options, especially the ice cream!
Verdict: The server there is really accommodating to our request and speedy service .. It's better to make a reservation if you want to be in a big group as the space of this eatery is not that large and it fills up rather quickly .. They have recently updated their menu with the inclusion of the dessert menu!
Niko Neko had reopened its original concept store in Bangsar - now dubbed Niko Neko / 1.5 Bangsar. Love the clean aesthetics!
Our drink of choice? Kiku matcha tea (RM11) with no sugar.
Tried Yuri Matcha which is medium profile @ RM 6 and I am a big fan for roasted profile and tried Tsubaki/Houjicha @ RM 6 Both are equally good to my liking.
My absolute favourite is their house-made Miso Ice Cream. Scattered with buttery caramel pastry crumbs, the smooth slightly saltish ice cream is just so delectable!
Verdict: As I’ve mentioned in the beginning, the Shabu Shabu Set with top notch quality ingredient felt value for money, hence decent for its price. If Shabu Shabu not your thing, try out their Kushiyaki and pair with their selection of sakes or beers. I was told that special BinchĹŤ-tan (備長ç‚) or white charcoal is used for the grilling. The charcoal is completely odourless which enabling you to enjoy the natural flavours of the food.
Beef Tenderloin Teppanyaki RM38 Summerkid’s favourite. Diced beef tenderloin, pan-seared on Teppanyaki grill till tender, juiciness locked within.
