Highly recommended is the Daging Masak Hitam to go with your Nasi Lemak. I spotted this beef dish and initially thought its Daging Masak Kicap but the vendor told me it's not. I just loved this - the beef was tender and flavourful - so delicious with more gravy from the dish. For RM 6 only, this Nasi Lemak Daging Masak Hitam is a steal. The vendor told me that this is a STUDENT'S PRICE and he's trying his best to sell his food specially for the IMU students.

Murni has changed a lot since back in the days, now they no longer sell roti. Food takes a while to be served. Lamb chop mee udon is okay. Somehow food on every other tables look better.
Dah lama tak lepak Murni ni. Sekali datang, masih macam dulu. Orang tak putus putus.
To make things easy for the night, we just go for all time Malaysian Favorite - Nasi Lemak Murni Discovery (RM 13.90). The nasi lemak platter is worth the price paid as it comes generously with a piece of chicken wings, sambal condiments with prawns, hard boiled egg, salted peanuts, slices of cucumbers on a piece of banana leaf. All the essential flavors are there. If we were to nitpick, it would be the sambal condiments lacking the driving factors to complement the rice.
Summary A place that is affordable for everyone. A place for someone who loves Malay cuisine and spicy food.
Sekali fikir-fikir kita singgah ke Warung Cikgu Bukit Puchong. Kiranya dulu kalau ke Bukit Puchong singgah Restoran Tuan Paridah sahaja. Tapi lauk dia cepat sangat habis. Jadi Warung Cikgu lebih mudah kerana lauknya hanya ayam goreng bersama sambal dan kuah sahaja, nasi mmanggey kata orang....
Selamat mencuba ! Gerenti tak rugi. Sure puas hati !
NASI LEMAK PANAS ‘YATIE’ At JALAN 223 PETALING JAYA. Hands up if you are often hungry in the wee hours of the morning and have no idea where to go. Supper time for me in PJ has to be my favourite NASI LEMAK PANAS 223 from Gerai Yatie! NASI LEMAK PANAS YATIE is one of the go-to places when one is cr…
I loved Yatie's Nasi Lemak simply for its Sambal Pedas that packs a punch with a smoky sotong flavours. What's best is that you get to choose your favourite part of the crispy fried chicken and I always opt for the meatier part of the breast meat or ribs portion.

I was struggling to finish the satay and so was my Auntie. What a disappointing experience. I don't know what happened to Sate Kajang Hj Samuri@Damansara Uptown to serve such lackluster satay. I wonder if other patrons have the same experience or I was just unlucky that day. This experience will put me off satay for a while.
We ate satay for lunch at Restaurant Satay Kajang Hj. Samuri At Uptown Damansara. It was an awesome lunch. The satay was awesome. I am awesome. I am satay. The Food OMG THE SATAY...
On the other hand, their Chicken Sate's were nice, though not the best that I have eaten and I am very sure that many would be able to vouch for this. I think it is the brand name that sells itself now more than the quality of the Sate's. The Sate's have definitely shrunk in size over the years but the taste has been consistent. I would rate their Chicken Sate's at 8/10
Maybe buffets aren’t that bad after all. Post-COVID-19 SOPs certainly make them much for pleasurable for introverted hygiene freaks such as myself. No one should complain about the quality and variety of food at Latest Recipe Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. And, while hubby holds none of my qualms, the half-price promo is undoubtedly a win.
Christmas Eve Dinner RM168 nett per adult | RM84 nett per child Christmas Day Brunch RM148 nett per adult | RM74 nett per child Christmas Day Dinner RM138 nett per adult | RM69 nett per child
整体来说, Latest Recipe @ Le Meridien Putrajaya 的自助餐选择非常多样化, 烹煮方式也非常合我胃口。
Their new head Chef Razis and assistant Chef Ujang have come up with some hearty traditional items in the theme this year, SIMPLY MALAY. The buffet starts on 9th May until 31st May, and is priced at RM120++ per person.
I have been to Bijan on probably 2 occasions before this but to attend events held there… Bijan is a beautiful restaurant offering a unique dining experience to please the most discerning palates… and seriously, I mean it!!
This luscious spread of Ramadhan buffet by the whimsical Malay Fine Dine enclave is priced at MYR120++ per pax and is available starting from 9th to 31st May 2019, 7pm till 930 pm. Thou shall get to enjoy the sumptuous buffet feast at only MYR 110 nett per person!
It was great with its shallots and chunks of salted fish, especially when assisted by some freshly cut chili padi as well as the surprisingly tangy soup that accompanied it.
The bill came up to slightly over RM30 inclusive of two drinks. Not particularly cheap but the food is currently the best (Kelantan style) I’ve had in Klang Valley. Go try and let me know what you think!
Verdict: The roti canai sold out very fast! Be earlier than 9am to avoid disappointment.
Summary Good discovery of this place, get to know what's all the hype all about. Price was great according to the portion served but the taste and aroma was just mediocre. Queue was slightly unexpected long, embrace longer wait if the person in front of you place big orders.
A standard plate of Nasi Lemak Goreng with fried chicken cost RM8 which is topped with cucumbers and soft boil egg. The rice was soft and moist, packed with “wok hei” flavour. It was a tad bit spicy and clearly the best part of the entire dish. Having a “wok hei” flavoured sambal rice instead of regular nasi lemak rice was certainly an interesting experience.
Rasa nasinya sangat lemak. Dimakan bersama dengan sambal istimewa Chef Fauzey makin naik rasanya. Udang gorengnya juga turut penuh berperisa. Ayam goreng berempahnya memang sangat sedap. Sebab itulah pelanggan Chef Fauzey tak pernah putus-putus datang kerana masakan nasi lemak kukus goreng ini memang sedap
While I do not remember the exact prices, I do recall telling Masood that the prices at the food stalls here aren’t exactly cheap, specially considering that these are self-serve food stalls without air-conditioning. Regardless, the fresh food is worth the price and this is definitely a must-visit place specially for those who love seafood.
Kesimpulan : kalu amik ikan tanya siap satu ekor ni brape harganya..biarlah org lain pandang kita, janji kita puas makan n puashati membayarnya..cz yang keluar duit adalah kita, bukannya orang yang melihat kita tu..hihihi... Jangan Malu Bertanya. Rate kami ***3 bintang saje.
Overall, the food is okay, once a while to dine here is pretty alright as the price is a little pricy compare to the location of it. . . Food Rating 7/10, okay ah~ -Stamped-

Nice and simple grill kambing kicap. There is a goat farm next to it, and also a camel.
Kambing bakar memang sedap. Mr. Ery yang habiskan semua. Aku ada juga try seketul daging kambing tu..tidak rasa hamis pun..tapi itulah, aku tetap jenis yang tak makannya. Payah sungguh.
If you are planning to visit Willy Satay Kajang Ramal Junction Food Court, please try their lamb satay. It is one of the best we tasted. Ask your Kajang friends and they will recommend Willy Satay.
All the satay sticks are flavourful by its own. A good combination yet the only thing to highlight is that if you are taking the lamb, it is slightly tough on meat and gamey in taste. Those of you do not like lamb taste, this might turn you off. However, eaters like me, must have the gamey taste and we enjoy it.
One of the things you must try when coming to Kajang is to have Kajang Satay! Willy Satay serves one of the best Kajang Satay in Kajang, and locals are willing to travel the distance to get their satay craving fixed! This Malaysian street food could be eaten as a snack or an entire meal by its own here at Willy Satay, just because the Kajang Satay here at Willy Satay is so so delicious!!
Well, fret not, this popular fish head curry stall is still around and operating from a food truck located at No. 2, Lorong Ara Kiri 3, 59100 Kuala Lumpur. Oh yes, you can never miss the Anuar’s Fish Head Curry new food truck as it's parked right in front of where their corner stall used to be in Lucky Garden. No more dine-in but you can tapau or takeaways for some good cheap eats from this hidden gem of yours.
Verdict All in all dining at Anuar’s Fish Head Curry was an incredibly satisfying experience. Sure, the curry could be better but considering the price we paid it certainly doesn’t get any better than this. Considering the price, taste and portion size, we will definitely be coming back for the fried fish and fried squid.
As you can tell from the picture, the size of the Sotong Goreng is pretty big and satisfying especially for the price of RM7. On top of that, as the restaurant’s name suggest, Anuar Kari Kepala Ikan is renowned for their fish curry which comes with spicy gravy and fresh fish. The Fish Head Curry here is a MUST TRY!
Apa apa pun, sesiapa yang nak mencari Nasi Kandar Melayu yang enak dan lazat. Boleh try makan di sini.
I loved this authentic Penang's Nasi Kandar, just mixed them all up - rice with the spicy, flavoursome and thick gravies to send you to seventh heaven. If you're a big eater, can opt for NASI AYAM BESAR for RM 8.50 but seriously the NASI AYAM KECIL for RM 6 is a huge portion indeed ~ very generous if compared to many others stalls.
This particular plate of Nasi Kandar cost RM8.50 as we opted for the bigger chicken. It is certainly not overpriced compared to Kok Siong or any chain Nasi Kandar as the chicken we had was huge. The curries were the best part as it was spicy, thick and flavoursome. The spiciness were indeed unique, nothing like what you’d find in random mamak stalls. The fried chicken was super crispy yet moist and tender on the inside. It is one of the must try when you dine in Zainul Nasi Kandar. The fried chicken we had was really fresh, you can clearly see steam being released when you rip into it.
Due to its proclamation, Botak Nasi Lemak will likely draw a comparison to Village Park Nasi Lemak. As it rightly claims, Botak Nasi Lemak is unlikely our No. 1 – but is worth a visit if you’re craving for Nasi Lemak in the area.
I will be back!
Nak lagi sederhana Lagi sederhana kalau datang naik basikal tua !
So sesiapa nak makan Nasi Padang, boleh cuba restaurant Sederhana. Tak silap, dia ada beberapa cawangan yang lain. Tapi pastikan datang dengan perut yang kosong ye. Makan sini, memang kenyang habis.
I didn't know what kuih Lopez is until I ate it. Instead of sago, it just uses glutinous rice.
Lunch for two pax at Upeh, Midvalley Mall. Our favourite Basil Fried Rice since 2014 when Upeh is still Belanga. The price is about the same since 2014 which is MYR 18.974 nett inclusive of 6% SST.
Previously I showed the Nasi Tumpang as a whole without breaking the rice cone up. Now I break up the prawn nasi tumpang (MYR 10 nett) to show the kerisik (toasted grated coconut) and a prawn. The rice is just as soft as before which I like.
One of the signature (and popular) dishes here is the Nasi Ayam (RM55), aka chicken rice. Guests can opt for either roasted or poached chicken. We went for the roasted chicken and I was impressed by the generous portion that arrived. Tastewise, the chicken was tender and comes with three different dipping sauce - chilli, ginger and sweet soy sauce. The rice was pretty good too, as it was fragrant and flavorful. Overall, a pretty authentic rendition of a Malaysian favourite.
Do not miss out the Chinese Chicken Rice stall. You might but not in JP Teres Grand Hyatt buffet. Really good roasted chicken and poached chicken. Tender, juicy, pair perfectly with aromatic, fluffy chicken rice.
Fix your craving with Keropok ikan, fish cracker, Keropok udang, prawn cracker, Papadam, vegetable cracker, Lijat, Indian herb cracker, Kerepek pisang, banana chips, Kerepek ubi, tapioca chips.
Chunky pieces of chicken meat - well-grilled, charred and just enough fats. Good to eat on its own or dipped into the delicious peanut sauce for total enjoyment.
"I am craving for Satay la" my sister said last weekend. "Yeah, let's go to Kajang for the famous Sate Hj. Samuri!" I replied. "Nope, I am lazy to drive all the way to Kajang...." she answered, "Wait, I remembered there's one on the Kesas Highway, the RnR Awan Besar!" I chirped in. So off we go to this RnR Awan Besar to get our fix of local famous satay. This is the first time I went to this RnR Awan Besar after a fire broke out in the old building. It is now a new big clean building which was rebuilt after it has been burnt down.
