The restaurant's menu is quite extensive with lots to choose from especially the hot wok section.
食物的水准算平平无奇,不过胜在价钱经济,适合在这里工作的朋友:)
A zesty green interior instantly greets you the moment you stepped into the premises, ultimately serving the best culinary heritage from Ipoh. And immediately chicken rice and pulpy bean sprouts come into mind at just the mere mention of it. Retrospectively, this place has more to offer it seems other than just these 2 iconic delicacies, namely the famous Ipoh Yong Tau Foo, Ipoh Bean Sprouts, Chicken Rice, Ipoh Noodle Soup and many more. Not forgetting those homey desserts such as Red Bean Ice, Sweet Corn Drinks and Fu Chuk Barley, which coloured most of our childhood times- those of Generation X and Y will surely fathom it (=
Reasons to visit: From the generous portions to the relaxed ambient vibe, attentive and extremely fast service (almost all our dishes arrived within ten minutes), I can’t wait for my next visit to ‘Mum and Dad’s’.
In short, Baba Nyonya is a good place for Nyonya food. Price is considered reasonable, as it is inside a shopping mall, plus in the golden triangle area. Do check it out.
We just couldn’t resist having a packet of the Asam Beehoon (RM2.50). It was so good, we ended up having a second packet before our dishes came. The thin rice noodle is very tasty and has a piquant tang of heat to it, making it delicious with every bite.
