Overall, having sushi at Sushiro reminds me of those days as a student and having sushi at Sakae sushi; affordable sushi for all with basic quality sushi.
Sushiro had a cold option on their menu though, which I was curious about. It was kinda like hiyayakko from a texture perspective, but with a savory seafood taste that came through more cleanly than in the hot version. I might actually order this again.
Food at Sushiro features classic Japanese cuisine and modern Japanese Fusion cuisine, with a focus on zushi / sushi.
Overall lunch set portion is quite generous. We were so full towards the end. People with big appetites will enjoy this set lunch.

This has been a stellar experience: food, service and ambience.
The famous Shiok Maki and Pitan Tofu were great, and the Bacon Enoki called out to me but was less remarkable.
My last visit to Koh Grill & Sushi Bar was almost five years ago and I remember I waited quite a while in the queue before my family finally...
Koh Grill & Sushi Bar needs no introduction especially for Japanese food fans in Singapore.
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Overall, I enjoyed my meal here at Kyoaji Dining very much once again - ambience was still subtly elegant and cosy as I remembered, and service crew so hospitable and friendly.
Loved the prior dining experience from 3 years back at Kyoaji Dining, and this visit lived up to our expectations. From the zen minimalist ambience, the attentive and efficient service, and fresh delicious Japanese food which is well-executed and reasonably priced, Kyoaji Dining continues to quietly impress across all categories.
Kyoaji Dining is almost an institution these days, with regulars visiting frequently for their exquisitely crafted and still delicious Japanese dishes, which are now more affordably priced.
The overall dining experience was pleasant and with the attentive and friendly services as well as quality food, I do not mind being back again for more. As the seatings are rather limited, I suggest that it will be better to make a reservation before heading down.

Just passable in terms of sweetness and freshness of the sashimi, in this Special Sashimi Don. You could still taste vestiges of the freeze in the fish.
The ambience of En Sushi is memorable and the food was great. Service was up to the mark and I will definitely like to bring some great company there the next round.
One Japanese restaurant, En Sushi caught y attention due to its promotion during this period.
Each dishes are delicately crafted to bring out the mouthwatering flavours of Japanese food.
Keyaki Weekend Brunch Review at Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel - $75++, 9 course, sashimi, teppanyaki, grilled prawns, dessert ..
Overall, I visited the restaurant with pretty high expectations which were not met at all with the exception of the very picturesque garden perfect for that nice photo to reminisce about travelling in Japan.
Nonetheless, for $75+++, this 8 course brunch is quite worth it. Not quite exquisite, but quality Japanese food.
Millenia Walk, 9 Raffles Boulevard, #02-12/13, Singapore 039596, open Mon to Sun 11:45am to 2:30pm, 5:45 to 9:30pm
Service at Tomi Sushi is polite, efficient, attentive, and professional; well suited for a fine dining establishment, even though they're actually a casual dining place.
BOTAN is a good place to mix food and alcohol.
I can’t wait to find friends who love Japanese food so that I could be back to Botan Japanese Restaurant soon.
Overall, it was a great meal and a nice experience returning to Ten Sushi. The food is always good and their new ramen is just comforting.
I especially enjoyed the Japanese Fresh Oysters (Sakoshi Bay Oysters), Unagi Eel Roll, and Deluxe Ten Assorted Sashimi Deluxe.
The chirashi don today was not great. i guess all depends on the freshness & cut on the day, but if it is inconsistent, means the retsurant not that great!
i think both donburi lunch were very good, though i don’t mind to alternate this with en sakaba’s chirashi don S$28.
Simply love the environment. Best of all, if you are having gathering with friends who are vegetarians, there are food for them too. Hope to be back soon.
Pretty good quality items and some selections which are not found sometimes in Singapore chains.
The best value for money dish was this plate of tempura prawns. Four medium sized prawns for $4.80 was an offer I could not refuse.
Comparing Sushiro to other conveyer belt restaurants at the same price range (Sushi Express, Genki Sushi, etc), Sushiro is much better in terms of quality and range.
Fresh stuff, wrapped with sticky rice and warm crispy seaweed. From left to right, up to down, hotate, salmon, shime saba, toro, crab and engawa.
All in all, RAPPU will be a good place to unwind with friends after work for some nibbles and tipples.
The handrolls here might not offer an authentic sushi bar experience, but I’m thankful that it remains that way.
I'm not sure if it's because my expectations have become distorted or if the quality has eroded over the years.
We were glad to find a good meal in a restaurant in Orchard Road in Singapore, the most expensive city in the world.
Salmon Samurai is definitely a health-conscious choice for lunch over in CBD area and their bowls of salmon are reasonably priced too.
Bowls start at $9.90 and a ton of supplementary options are available for superfoods, avocados and roe.
So loved the price and portion, could fine-tune in terms having more ‘taste’.
For the good value of the omakase, yes. While the seat is not very comfortable, the overall experience is still quite positive for me and I hope to be back again.
It sounds like a lot of food but by the end of the meal, we were comfortably full and on a post-sushi high.
Frills are minimal and the fish were carefully portioned.
Overall, the sashimi and don we ordered were decent although the prices were on the slightly higher side. Some of the highlights include the aged salmon which is not commonly found in other Japanese restaurants and the chawanmushi which is really delightful. For the price tag, I would say the sashimi and sushi are probably worth it but I’m not that convinced about the rest of the items. Personally, the distance from my house is really far so I will not be going there any time soon
Fairly reasonable prices for the quality of ingredients here, Daiyusan Sushi Bar is worth trying if you want a no-frills dining ambience tucked away from the crowd.
I'm not sure how long this has been on Sushiro's menu, but that torched soy sauce engawa behind the blackthroat seaperch in the foreground was good enough that I went back to order two more plates.
One of the things rotating through Sushiro's list of specials right now is this crab roe ramen.
Normally when I see a piece of sushi covered in mayonnaise, I'm the first one to jump onto a soapbox to shout "SACRILEGE!!" at the top of my lungs.
We've reconciled with our favourites this visit and will be back for more.
Overall, Mikuni is a good Japanese restaurant to impress your date or treat your folks.
food & ambience were great & we had some treasured moments together this evening.
