うなばら Unabara Grilled Fish is a new casual dining restaurant in Leisure Park Kallang. It specializes in the traditional Grilled Fish Teishoku and is a pleasant place to enjoy a balanced and satisfying meal.
The JB Fried Bee Hoon was nicely crispy, charred, smoky and full of wok hei. It was almost like a pancake, had a nice seafood flavour, and a balanced savouriness and garlickyness. The plate was moist inside and came with tender sotong, two springy and sweet prawns, and tender fishcakes. Nice food with a nice view across Marina Bay Golf Course.
Dining in an open-concept restaurant does take away some marks for ambience.
I've been told about this place - and have passed by this place - many times, and yet was only able to try it tonight (2 Stadium Walk #01-04, 9277-7519).
The new Ando restaurant is a good casual dining restaurant. It has a welcoming and pleasant space, offers an interesting variety of food at reasonable prices and has good service.
Really flavourful and hearty textural porridge, made from I think a good and flavourful broth, with the fragrance uplifted by the egg and the fried shallots. The minced meat was flavourful as well, the liver cooked just nice and the meatballs bouncy – everything tasted fresh to boot. The whole piece of youtiao was interesting but was neither crispy nor airy. Overall good though.

We stumbled upon Ji Xian at Wave Mall while looking for some lunch. Me, being a dim sum guy and all, decided to give it a go.
