Considering the usual rates of a stay at Hilton Singapore, the value here is hard to beat.
The dish that impressed me the most is the succulent Signature Baked Yoghurt Country Tomato Scottish Salmon, one of the best-baked salmons I had for buffets.
The pool is very pleasant. The water tastes clean and it’s empty.
We got a free upgrade to a club suite (with access to breakfast at the club floor lounge), due to my Gold Millenium hotel membership that came along with my American Express Krisflyer Ascend card. Awesome!
A Jingling-Good Time festive buffet, only available on 24 – 25 December 2018, is decidedly more elaborate and lavish.
East Meets West Buffet serves a number of innovative dishes by combining some of the unusual east and west ingredients together which we thought it was a good try. At this buffet, we find that the standard is getting better.
On the whole, if you’re a tourist, I would highly recommend the hotel. It’s right in the heart of the shopping district and is affordable to stay a few days.
For the accommodation quality and location though, it's seriously good value.
Baked Oyster with Mentaiko, which is definitely a live live must try if you have not been to Triple Three at Mandarin Orchard Singapore.
So if you'd like to splurge on your hotel in Singapore, I would recommend this hotel for its location and of course the breakfast.
On the whole, while it was not a completely pleasant experience, I did enjoy my staycation. I had a peaceful time in my room and apart from the restaurant and reception, was made to feel welcomed by the staff. However, with those little less-than-stellar episodes, I would think twice about recommending the hotel to someone else. Particularly since not everyone would get to experience the housekeeping or room service staff, but everyone definitely has to go through the reception. In fact, I would think twice myself if I were to consider another staycation. Unless, of course, it was again set at an unbeatable price offer.
Even with the full 24-hour stay, I felt like I could stay longer at Grand Park Orchard because there's just so much to explore around the area.
One negative aspect were how the rooms are a bit small. Being located in such a prime area, it's probably because of their need to maximize their space.
All in all, the husband and I had a pretty marvelous staycation at Grand Park Orchard and managed to spend quality time with each other over the precious weekend.

If you prefer to have lighter bites, I'd recommend the pork satay and the deep fried wings.
Diners can enjoy the outdoor alfresco dining that has been refreshed with newly revamped dining & tipples menu.
The staycation workshops were pretty fun, and worth getting it together with the room. Plus, you get to enjoy the end product!
The pillows and bed were super comfy.
We had the opportunity to savour some of the dishes for this festive season.
The new Coconut Mousse with Calypso Mango Yule Log is also another must order. Refreshing and tropical, this is a nice change from your usual chocolate options that tend to be a bit heavy especially after all that feasting!
Classical dining spread , buffets and festive takeaways awaits you!
Most of the dishes were well cooked and delicious, except for the Sushi Rolls which were 'meh' at best.
the suite was spacious and comfortable, and there is a lot to recommend about the property, from the guest rooms’ bathroom jet massage capabilities and the Wet Lounge’s facilities to Yan Ting’s Sunday Champagne Dim Sum Brunch and the brilliant Remède Spa treatments.
The hotel may wish to relook how it approaches its application of the Marriott Rewards membership benefits, in the interest of preserving guest loyalty and delivering the promise of “live exquisite” as opposed to “leave shortchanged”.
Overall, while I didn't have the best sleep at Hotel G, I enjoyed the cosy feels in the room and the breakfast was good. Value for money.
The room ranges from 11 to 13 sqm. While not spacious, it was sufficiently big to cosy up and take your well-deserved break (we were accompanied by Harry Potter and friends on the TV – contented).
Hotel G Singapore (certified SG Clean) is introducing not one, but two irresistible staycation packages catering to every budget, ideal for those in need of a little break.
My stay at InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay was quite a pleasant experience.
Aside from being one of the most premium properties in the appealing Robertson Quay area as well as one of Singapore’s newest hotels in recent years, the property is bold in its delivery of such a unique luxury residential-style experience, especially in the context of an InterContinental hotel.
I am quite familiar with the Superior Braised Fish Maw with Crabmeat and Homemade Stuffed Crab Claw.
