After lunch at Super Thai, we went to Tsujiri for dessert. Chiffon Parfait O-Matcha at MYR16.90 nett and Signature O-Matcha hot drink (not sweet at all) at MYR15 nett.
Tsujiri is an established green tea brand from Japan with over 155 years of heritage. It originates from Kyoto Japan. One thing undeniable about them is their green tea ice cream which is really soothing and healthy as well.
Not just parfait, cake roll and soft serve ice cream cone only...they have too many too be listed so I will definitely be back for their other varieties which are O-matcha cappuccino, sundae, shaved ice, genmaicha, Uji Kintoki, Kinako Kuromitsu and many more.
Both of the interior design and lighting design of TSUJIRI abroad is left in the charge of Shozo Toyohisa, the world-famous lighting design master. Shozo Toyohisa has created a lot of works seen in boutiques and stores around the world. His design presents nothing but art. The lighting presenting simplicity and calculated designation leaves strong, deep impressions.
O-Matcha Shiratama put together kanten jelly at the bottom, the matcha soft serve, red bean, followed by more swirls of soft ice cream, Shiramtama Dango and a touch of Kinako soy bean powder on top. Rich, very creamy, smooth finish, blending in pleasing matcha aroma, almost no trace of bitterness. Perfect teatime dessert for a scorching hot weather.
Tsujiri's top temptations include Japanese-inflected parfaits - the roasted tea soft serve is endowed with endearingly aromatic nuances, well-matched with a warm slice of chiffon cake, red bean paste & cornflakes for an enjoyable medley of tastes, textures & temperatures (RM16)
