Overall, SP delivers comforting Vietnamese food with a taste of home. The Pho is delicious and we did not feel any MSG attack after our meal. We will return to visit when we are around the city next time and also try their Banh Mi. Cheers!!
In summary, we loved both the gelato and sorbet even though general consensus is that serving size was quite small. I agreed to a certain extent but this is Orchard area we are talking about, yet the pricing at Play Gelato was comparable or even cheaper than the gelato shops in Yishun. The major issue I had was with the waffle and I sure hope there will be improvements in the near future.

No doubt, Spuds offers a variety of creations that will pique one’s interest.
I was happy. Those mildly sweet Hokkaido potatoes above were topped with a knob of butter and salty squid, while those crispy kibinago herring behind it were fun too.

The nasi lemak was okay. I felt that the standards of their rice aren't great just like everyone else's.
It is heart-warming to know that Anthony and Angela have managed to overcome all the challenges, and started their business.
It is a definite dining experience I had here and I can strongly sense their strong passion from the service rendered, trying their best to serve each meal.
I also enjoyed the soft and bouncy beef balls. The only thing that I wished was that the pho noodles used were thinner.
