While unfamiliar to many, Chilean cuisine takes center stage at Araya offering a refreshing addition to Singapore’s dining scene. The carefully crafted dishes, attentive service, and unique flavour combinations position Araya as a strong contender for a Michelin Star in the future. I would recommend giving it a try for an exquisite dining experience.
While I am not familiar with Chilean cuisine, it is refreshing to see a South American focused fine-dining restaurant in Singapore’s dining landscape. You should head to Araya with an open mind, as the flavours in some of the dishes are not something I come across often in Singapore. The dishes are well-thought, service attentive and without much surprise, it should be gunning for a Michelin Star in due course.
Food at Bottega Di Carna is modern Italian fine dining cuisine, with a focused menu comprising use of gourmet ingredients. No surprise that meat is a highlight, with exquisite aged cuts of beef flame-kissed by their josper grill. Handmade pastas and inventive appetizers round it out. Portions are sized for individuals but can be shared. Prices are relatively high, budget about SGD $97 per person for a meal with drinks here.
Lucha Loco Duxton Hill - Mexican Cocina Y Mezcaleria is a lively restaurant in Singapore that serves authentic Mexican food and mezcal cocktails.

Beautiful dining space and a communal-style menu, Bottega di Carna is best suited for group gatherings in my opinion. The dishes I had are overall quite good, and I do see this as a popular “meating” spot in Duxton going forward.
XYT had transformed our local dishes into innovative dishes, adding a special touch to each. Our overall experience was above average no doubt that the price was a bit steep. It will be good for some special occasion and if you are willing to splurge on our local delights with a twist.
