I ordered the highly recommended Breakfast Platter and got them to change the corn to salad coz hard to eat corn with braces. I have nothing to complain about this well executed platter.
All their beans are supplied by the Knockhouse Supply Co. in the same building. My coffee was uber-smooth, creamy and full-bodied.
About 2/3 of the seating area is al-fresco. There are some seats indoors but I wouldn’t recommend sitting there because the space is rather narrow, it’s directly next to the ordering queue and the cooking smell is stronger there.
No GST and service charge is not enticing enough for a return, unfortunately. Or did I just get too unhip for cafes?
Still, no gst and service charge makes botanist a good place to head to for well priced café food. they do a mean coffee, too!
We like the ambience while food was pretty delish too.
Overall, the food and beverages were quite enjoyable. I wouldn't mind returning and trying more items, like maybe the French Toast and Beef Cheeks.
