Overall, many of my friends swear by their cakes are the best among other cafes.
Some of the signature items from the shack can now be found at Nesuto so that you can have your savoury and sweet all in one place!
Overall, Nesuto was an attractive cafe in Tanjong Pagar for a tea break and indulge in some sweet desserts.
Marginally better than the Yuzu Raspberry, I just don't think I will be returning for their sliced cakes anytime soon. And not to worsen matters, their cheesecakes as introduced are their densest cakes with plenty of cheese and chocolate. Oh. My. Goodness.
Overall, I would be more willing to invest in the petit gateaux than the sliced cakes because the latter is more common in the market and the taste doesn't stand out far from the rest.
A pretty good place to chill out for an afternoon tea but I would think weekends would be quite a horror with the small space.
Nesuto also offers specialty tea selections to pair with your desserts.
NESUTO‘s line of Japanese-inspired French cakes and entremets are also available for takeaways and pre-orders in whole 16cm and 20cm sizes.
We see potential in Nesuto although we also thought there are still room for improvement in some of the cakes. With minor tweaking, they should attain perfection.
In all aspects, we enjoyed the overall experience at Nesuto. The flavours of the cakes are layered, while the tea pairing adds on a more refined touch.
