Taste:8/10(Good. The oysters were good and quite fresh but the selection is quite limited and small size. The restaurant has wrongly estimate the demand for their oysters and we feel not enough even though we have taken 2 dozens. The first round were ok but second round oysters were small. Truffle chicken breast with risotto mushroom taste great with very tender meat and smooth. Sausages were great as well. A bit disappointing that they only give one lamb sausage on the platter. It should have 2 each).
Champignons at Oasis Damansara is operated by Chef Gary Chang, and rightfully so, he is just so skilful in French cuisine preparation. We had the seared Halibut, and it was mouthwatering good!
Caramelized Banana with Cepe Mushroom, Milk Chocolate and Cepe Mushroom Ice-cream. this is by far one of the most interesting dessert as where the trend is moving. A combination of sweet and savoury. With the Cepe Mushroom Ice cream gives you the kind of confusion in your mind where mushroom taste is not too prominent yet it is cold and sweet vanilla taste. Very interesting.
The mains dish is the Smoke Wagyu Beef Rib Eye that was accompanied by a Cinamon infused tomato, mushroom fricassee, Nastridium Poivre Eclater, Borderlaise And Foie Gras Sauce. The sauce has a nice flowery aroma while the sauce which is infused with red wine truly stand out with the nice texture of the fine wagyu ribeye.
That night, the Black Truffle Chicken Breast was my top favourite of the night. Chicken breast marinated in the heavenly truffle oil and sous vide to perfection maintaining the juiciness within the chicken, resulting in a well-cooked tender and juicy chicken breast.
Our second main is the Australian Lamb Short Loin With Homemade Lamb Sausages (RM48.00). We particularly like the homemade lamb sausages which have a firm and bouncy texture. Premium meat from Australia; with minimum fats is marinated and used to make these sausages. The dish is served with salted baked onion with a carrot puree.
Smoked Salmon and Crab Meat Egg Benedict A delectable breakfast for sure will make your day. This breakfast consists of smoked salmon, avocado puree, cherry tomatoes, pickled cucumber, and crab meat. with Hollandaise sauce shower over the egg benedict. So tempting!
