The beef in the Hokkaido Wagyu Beef Sando was really juicy and tender with a slight beefy flavour, and matched well with the Hamburg Sauce, Karashi Mayo and soft and lightly toasted bread. This was a really enjoyable sando.
The Hokkaido Soft Serve Original (SGD $6) is so luscious with its bright milky sweet flavour of the creamy Hokkaido milk soft serve ice cream. Melts pretty quickly though. Served in a glass with a crunchy biscuit cone that has grainy buttery sweet flavour. Good!
This is a casual, laid-back alternative to the typical boisterous izakaya ambience. The dishes are quite value for money, particularly the ones for sharing like the Salt Baked Fish and the Salt Grilled Tiger Prawns.
Overall, we like the new concept by Hattendo. The dual concept caters to different type of customers and for different occasions.
