Not sure about the hype over here but there are also nicer BBQ Seafood out there in the West. If you said they are one of its kind among the stalls in the hawker, well... its not. It's time to explore other stalls in Taman Jurong Food Centre too.
This is one of my favourite rojak stalls since 12 years ago when Taman Jurong Market was located else where. This particular stall sells only Rojak and nothing else - Specialized!
Love their style of Western Food and I can see that I will return here for other dishes.
This plate of curry mutton noodle is really good for me and I do not mind having it again and again. I am surprised that there is not much info about it online. This stall is definitely a hidden gem that has gone under the radar.
This $4 bowl is value for money and can actually be shared among two however, I would recommend getting the smaller bowls.
The springy noodle is tossed in a sauce with a subtle savoriness that pleases my palate. The chili, in particular, possesses a umami flavor that elevates the taste of the noodle. Service here is prompt and efficient but perhaps that is because I arrived just before the lunch crowd does.
On the whole, this chicken briyani is affordable and filling. Totally value for money.
chwee kueh, taman jurong, food, singapore, taman jurong market & food centre,
This stall had the same menu as Tien Lai: char siew, roasted pork, roasted duck and soy chicken. Even their pricing are quite competitive.
The grandmother's lor mee is buay pai too if you appreciate your lor mee without additional aromatics.
