Would I come back on my own? I don't think so but if my brother wants company to share a fish head curry meal, I would be game to return.
没想到这里的咖喱那么好吃,尤其是 Fish Curry,小的份量里有一块鱼肉、羊角豆、菜豆和豆腐卜,味道好到可以扯很多饭
Overall, Ratha Raub is a MUST TRY restaurant for Fish Head Curry lovers. We will definitely be coming back for more very soon.
This place never fails to satisfy us and remains one of our favourite Indian/Muslim restaurants. Must-try dishes include the fried lamb, fried squid, fried chicken, chicken curry, nasi lemak and roti canai (in no particular order). Oops, did I just name almost everything I've eaten here? ^_*
If you’re up for some good old fashion Malaysian Indian cuisine in a comfortable set up, this would be a good place to start.
If I had to pick, I think I'll go for the chicken curry first with the fried chicken, a close second. What surprised me though was how decent the nasi lemak was at this place, a dish that I certainly didn't think would come out so well from an Indian-type restaurant.
I mentioned that I am not much of a fried meat person but the Fried Lamb RM9 left me speechless. A plate of succulent lamb marinated with simple ingredients of soy sauce and spices, fried only upon order. It was so good that I could not stop on one piece...I just wanted more and more and more. It will certainly go well with just a plate of warm rice.
Although some may argue that their prices are slightly high, I would still say that it's truly worth it. The food is good and is served in a clean and cosy air conditioned environment. Being such, it is just not fair to compare the prices with those common Indian or Indian Muslim restaurants and the slight premium charged, it truly justified. I am waiting for another opportunity to come here in a larger group, perhaps with my family to once again treat myself to their delicious Fish Head Curry.
