Really good value for money, so advance reservations are highly recommended!
Overall, the highlights for this year festive dining are definitely enticing and luxurious.
A review of Tippling Club 2019 one of the very best restaurants on Tanjong Pagar Road the hipster food mecca of Singapore
What we did this night was a cooking Masterclass via Zoom with the world-famous crew from Tippling Club, Chef Ryan Clift, Chef Ayo & Mixologist God Andrew.
Tippling Club Review 2022, owned and operated by Chef-Owner Ryan Clift, is situated at 38 Tanjong Pagar Road in Singapore
Overall, I loved the bolo buns and definitely one of the best in Singapore; in fact, can match one of the better ones in Hong Kong. I would return and enjoy the buns at the cafe and try the other versions as well
Very nice bolo bun, with a crust that was just the right mix of crispy, crumbly and sweet, soft and fluffy bun, and rich and melting butter inside. The milk tea was nice and thick too, with a good tea fragrance.
Food at Champion Bolo Bun is focused on Hong Kong style bolo bun and drinks.
Everything in a seafood lunch checked off – comforting, tum satisfying and the best part of it is the charred rice bits at the bottom of the pot!
In most aspects, dining at Teppan Kappou Kenji is quite value for money.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at Teppan Kappou Kenji.
Their food was a little less expensive and felt a little bit more down to earth than Candlenut.
Prices are reasonable at The Blue Ginger and it is good value Peranakan food in my opinion. It is worth a return trip for sure.
It is recommended to go in a group so you could order more dishes to try but please do remember to make a reservation before going. Hope you have an enjoyable meal like we did.
Bar Roque Grill located Amara Hotel in Singapore @ 165 Tanjong Pagar Rd, one of the best steak houses in Singapore, Sunday Brunch is great!
Overall, Bar-Roque Grill gave us a wonderful dining experience.
Bar Roque @ 165 Tanjong Pagar, Just sit back at let Chef Stefan advise what is best on the menu & serve one of the best aged Steaks in Singapore
If you love napoletana style pizza, this is the place to go!
We ordered their sotong. Pretty good chewy and tender sautéed squids that was served on a bed of squid ink cream and a spicy arrabiata-esque sauce.
Overall, the Okinawa menu is worth a try for anyone keen to have a taste of Okinawa.
FOCR Tanjong Pagar or Five Oars Coffee Roasters Heritage is a chic cafe with friendly service, nice food and good quality coffee.
Five Oars Coffee Roasters is no stranger to the cafe scene, having been a Tanjong Pagar mainstay for several years now. Known for a minimalist and beautiful space, as well as a spacious shop floor, they moved out of the premises at the end of January.
Overall, middling coffee, lovely ambience for an afternoon of chats or kickback with a coffee and book.
Fresh stuff, wrapped with sticky rice and warm crispy seaweed. From left to right, up to down, hotate, salmon, shime saba, toro, crab and engawa.
All in all, RAPPU will be a good place to unwind with friends after work for some nibbles and tipples.
The handrolls here might not offer an authentic sushi bar experience, but I’m thankful that it remains that way.
I'm coming back, although now I'm also curious to check out the sandwich bar that the Abate folks set up nearby.
Portion was huge.
It is a very nice place for a quiet meal with some friends, and I highly recommend it in the bustle of Tanjong Pagar.
The Gogijib Korean BBQ review, The Gogijib Iberico Pork Specialist, Korean Soy Marinated Crab in Singapore, Black Pork Korean BBQ in Singapore
Overall, the dishes at Gogijip are decent although some are better than others. If I do not compare them to those in Korea, I would say the flavours are not that bad.
we got this kimchi stew, which turned out a bit sweeter than I would've hoped. Their banchan was a bit sweet too.
Crackerjack serves up the kind of brunch which you'd never dreamy about making yourself which ups the satisfaction factor by ten-fold.
I liked in each dish, but when put together, nothing really stood out on its own.
I enjoyed the afternoon at Cracker Jack, it's quaint, it's charming, it's got abit of everything for that me-time respite. Be back soon!
Hey Makan Kakis, this episode is a little different but no less delicious, and we have a new foodie friend! A week ago, Fly Entertainment CEO, entrepreneur & entertainer best known for her role…
Anyway, it was awesome, as it was salty, spicy, and earthy, going perfectly with the raw veggies as alternating bites.

Food at Silk Road Restaurant highlights Chinese Mandarin cuisine, spanning the regions of Sichuan, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shaanxi.
丝绸之路是我一直都很喜欢的一家餐馆,回想起来却也有好几年没有上门了。
Overall, we enjoyed the return visit the Silk Road Amara Chinese restaurant. Their menu is refreshingly different from the typical Chinese restaurant in Singapore.
Overall, OBJ still served one of the better Korean Chinese Food in Singapore.
I’d recommend coming here only with a big group of friends, so you guys can share more things and then split the bill.

Overall our lunch at the new Thanying Thai restaurant at Amara Hotel was mostly positive. The decor might have changed but we were glad that the good, friendly service has remained.
The interior is brighter now with a seating capacity for 128 people and 2 brand new private rooms.
Thanying is one to visit for a special occasion or if you fancy having Thai food in a nice dining ambience.
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Food at Noodle Star K is Korean cuisine, focused on authentic hand made Korean noodles. There's a good range of both warm and chilled noodles on the menu, and helpful descriptions adorning the walls help you better appreciate your meal. Quality is consistently above average. Portions are sized for individuals, but may be shared. Prices are reasonable, budget about SGD $18 per person.
What differentiates Cumi Bali from other Indonesian restaurants is them serving homely, hearty food.
Food is only above average and certainly over-priced and what’s worst is the atrocious service. With such an formula, the result is I won’t return.
GOHO, which serves modern Japanese cuisine, has a new summer kaiseki menu at $98, $138, $188 (10 courses), which is quite good value compared to other kaiseki restaurants. In the 10-course menu I was invited to try, the food included foie gras, engawa (flatfish tail), wagyu sukiyaki, lobster miso soup, and caviar. The food is presented prettily and tasted better than average but perhaps they are best known for their cocktail pairing ($58, $78, $98) with the meal. They also just started a lunch menu: $48 (5 courses) and $88 (8 courses).
The Place This is a new hidden Kaiseki Bar and restaurant. Goho by Proper Concepts (the team behind Rappu, Mezcla) definitely redefines kaiseki dining. As the new extension of Singapore’s Han…
