Overall was worth it considering the ingredients served for price at S$68++ per pax. We also topped up S$48++ for sake pairing. This is optional but my friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice drink. There are sake and beer options on the menu.
Will I Return Again? Even at the top tier omakase menu at S$188++, Unkai offers much value as compared to other Japanese restaurants in Singapore where the highest end menu easily goes up to S$400-S$500.
Pano Kato Grill, Pizza and Deli is a new restaurant in Tanglin Mall (level 2). It is another project by the owners of the House of AnLi Store and Bistro which is also located in Tanglin Mall but on a floor above. According to their website, Pano Kato (Πάνω Κάτω) means ‘Upstairs Downstairs’ in Greek. Pano Kato serves Mediterranean cuisine.
The beef was well… beefy with some bite, but tender enough; cooked just nice with just a little bit of char. Quite nice, but nothing I would go back for at close to $50. Appears to be frequented by those with family or business wealth, with many regulars.
I did not try their baked goods but I heard that they are baked fresh daily. This place will serve as a good brunch spot if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of town. It is also great to try some dishes that were invented during the colonial period of Singapore.

I liked it more than I thought I would too, as it came with a luxurious layer of chicken fat on top to not only make it tasty, but keep it piping hot.

All in all, I do not mind splurging once in a while for such delicious lobster rolls.
Overall, it was an excellent culinary journey of Argentinian cuisine. While some of the dishes look familiar, we find the taste uniquely different due to the use of Argentinian flavour and ingredients. Salud! Cheers!

Personally, I prefer Pink as it is in hues of beautiful pink. Concocted with vodka, lemon juice, rose liquor and rose syrup, it is easy to drink and slightly more lemony.
The huge piece of T-Bone ($168) features a luscious and tender 400-day grain-fed Australian wagyu, served with choice of bearnaise, black pepper jus or red wine jus.

The beef hor-fun was stir-fried with bittergourd and salted black beans. It was delicious.

Pasta and all that were quite standard. Swimmer crab pasta had generous amounts of crab, and tasted like curry pasta. The pork jowl was soft with an interesting salty savoury sauce, and the rice was like a fragrant and tasty glutinous rice, without the stickiness.
During this tumultuous time where the world is besieged with one crisis after another, Alma by Juan Amador is determined to play its part by continuing to provide quality and delectable food to diners. The specially curated warm, comforting meal and delightful bundles aim to bring smiles to the dinner table and spread positivity despite the juncture we are in.
My first encounter with Kai Duck restaurant was during the pandemic when I realized the huge lunch crowd waiting for entry either for East Ocean Restaurant or Kai Duck.
Nice and exquisite food. The Peking duck was superb – fatty, crispy, fragrant and juicy.
Was quite taken in by their braised pork knuckle in fermented bean curd sauce.
Overall, the Imperial Treasure steamboat restaurant is still my favourite steamboat restaurant of all time.
braised duck and trotters very flavourful…aiya…everything was good basically…lol!
we always ordered the Teochew char kway teow…very good today…excellent woke!
rice dumpling stuffed with pork, flavour's not bad but meat was a little dry-ish but the rice was moist and tender.
I would have given this a thumbs up if there were more bak kwa in the fried rice.
I wouldn't mind having this again.
