A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Classic, yet vibrant and modern, from the existing space that houses both a bistro and an epicurean grocer, So France now extends with a new alfresco terrasse for nights of drinks, tapas and sharing platters.
overall, the lunch deal is a steal, and the food is outstanding enough for us to risk a second time there.
so the 665degF pira charcoal grill oven was really something!
665°F Andaz Hotel SIngapore Set Lunch review with pictures of menu, restaurant and food - crab cake, scallops, flank steak, tenderloin ...
Overall, 665ºF is definitely one of the steakhouses in Singapore that you must try. The food, ambience and service are definitely worth the price. Cheers!!
The theme for the menu at the Man Man branch at Duo Galleria seems to be combo pairings with unagi for their hitsumabushi and teishoku.
Overall, the meal was enjoyable and I was glad I satisfied an item off the food bucket list - Man Man Unagi Restaurant.
If you haven’t tried Man Man Unagi, I strongly encourage you to!
Overall, a good place to dine with good food and reasonably priced bottled wines.
All in all, I think the overall experience here was really good.
Overall, it was a pleasure dining at The Gong.
Overall, the experience was quite underwhelming for a Christmas high tea where it would be nice if the items were served in nice tiers instead of casually placed on plates like buffet-styled plating.
Alley on 25 at Andaz Singapore launches a locally inspired, picnic themed afternoon tea set perfect for a leisurely weekday afternoon.
The foods here remind me of the similarity of Blue Lotus – Chinese Grill House. Both have the modern contemporary Chinese cuisine which gives a nice twist.
PizzaExpress, the love child of founder Peter Boizot and his love affair for Italy, continues to make the world a happier place with pizza with a series of new flavors from around the world.
the interior was simple but they made use of the large windows to create a sunny, attractive space.
With Peruvian ceviches at the core, the menu maps out the rest neatly into Tapas, Rice & Pasta, Fish & Seafood, and Meat.
In all, this is a fabulous find. The dishes themselves are conversation worthy and the big-hearted hospitality will make you want to return.
The novelty of Peruvian food was a draw to us initially, and we were glad we tried TONO Cevicheria.
Seroja offers a distinctive take on Malayan cuisine within a fine-dining setting, setting it apart from other establishments in the same category. The well-executed dishes showcase a variety of ingredients from the Southeast Asia region. While the restaurant encourages wine pairing, the food itself is flavorful enough to be enjoyed independently.
The Place One of the most highly anticipated new restaurants at the end of last year, I finally got down to Seroja restaurant located at Duo Galleria in Bugis recently. The name Seroja means lotus flower in Malay language and is also the street name of Chef Owner Kevin Wong’s family home in Klang, Malaysia. The space of Seroja is elegant and minimalist, where the layout is a mix of a long counter seating and intimate table settings for larger groups. Prior to Seroja, Chef Kevin was the Head Chef of Meta Restaurant Singapore.
The Place While the name might not sound like a Chinese restaurant, I checked out 5 On 25 recently for lunch, the Chinese restaurant concept of Andaz Singapore in Bugis.
Andaz Singapore’s 5 ON 25 is a new Chinese restaurant which offers refined Cantonese cuisine in an elegant space with panoramic views.
Good meats at Yen Social and as a yakiniku lover, this is one restaurant I will recommend to check out. It is probably ideal to come in groups of 3-4 persons, where you can try more variety of cuts without breaking the bank.
If beef is not your kind, they have seafood and chicken ingredients for you to grill too. Other staple dishes include O-Chazuke, Wagyu Fat-Fried Rice, Yuzu Cold Noodle and Wagyu Curry Rice.
Overall dining experience at La Cala Restaurant was lovely once again, with palatable food and delicious drinks to start off the weekend superbly.
Food at La Cala is focused on Spanish and Catalan cuisine, with a selection of other modern European influences.
La Cala is an amazing restaurant, but unfortunately the dearth of information fails to educate the public about the food, and thus, inhibits customers to enter the restaurant.
Their Lunch Tray Sets offers great value for money with one main, one side and Andaz Iced Tea for $26 or with an additional dessert for $29.
Gaeng Phed Goong serves up tiger prawns in red curry. The curry can certainly be more robust I feel, but it suits diners who can't take much heat.
For the price, it is a decent value if you stick to the basic selections.
Our experience at Meating Place was a good one; attentive service, brilliant food and a pretty venue that would fit after-work dinners, family gatherings or dates alike.
Overall, these nice coffee and dessert offerings at Joe & Dough outlets are what keeps us going back for more. The new hot food dishes could be an added reason to visit.
All in all, I enjoyed the experience at Cast Iron Restaurant. Service crew was very attentive, able to provide recommendations, and introduce the dishes as they’re served.
Overall, I enjoyed the dining experience at Cast Iron Restaurant.
If you would like to have Japanese Wagyu steak, it is available albeit in limited portions. Currently in-stock, they have the Kagoshima and Miyazaki wagyu.
As to why this superfood concept, the background of how it came about is similar to most of the superfood offerings around - not only to promote wellness for the body but for the mind as well.

If you’re a seafood aficionado, the Seafood Buffet Dinner Menu at Beach Road Kitchen is a true treasure trove for seafood lovers.
Overall, the buffet was good and I visited when the restaurant was doing a promotion for lunch so based on the price and offerings, it was quite worth the money.
If you are a seafood lover, you got to try Beach Road Kitchen as they have launched a seafood buffet showcasing a variety of premium seafood.
Chef Bjorn and the Artichoke Singapore crew are serving up incredible Middle-Eastern fusion food and stunning cocktails, moves to River Valley
We noticed some good looking hummus and eggplant sitting in the countertop's glass case at Artichoke, so we grabbed a plate of each, along with other tasty treats like their white beans and fennel as well as a smoked falafel salad.
Bring your friends and family, and enjoy a charming taste of authentic Singaporean flavours here at Ginger!
Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road definitely has no shortage of excellent dishes infused with authentic Singaporean flavours.
We absolutely loved the Roast Angus Beef with Truffle Puree.
