the choon kee roast meats were good-roast pork char siew both good, roast duck ok..
Golden Mile Food Centre is close to many Singaporean hearts and stomachs.
Tried both the almond soup and peanut soup options and I liked them both.
I'll come back after the food centre is done with the renovations next year and try them again.

Every component of the prawn noodles was good. The stock was thick, robust and balanced, full of crustacean flavour, umami and slightly sweet as per the Singaporean style prawn noodle stock.
neither YouFu nor Hainan cover their wok to briefly stew and simmer the ingredients and stock to more deeply infuse their umami sweet flavours into the noodles.
Featured by various as a young chef-hawker. Springy spaghetti in thick tangy-sweet and strong tomato sauce, with wok hei and fresh seafood – mussels, clams and prawns. Quite nice this.

The various pieces of meat were in fairly large chunks or strips, were tender yet had bite, and carried some bits of fatty meat. The accompanying sliced shiitake mushrooms were superb, braised thoroughly and springy to the bite. The onsen egg was done just right in terms of softness and the molteness of the yolk.
Good strong porky garlicky vinegary flavours for the mee sua, with nicely cooked mee sua and tender yet crunchy intestines, which was thinly chopped.
Overall, there are many styles and types of Wanton Noodles around. If you prefer to focus more on Char Siew Meat than the Wantons, this style may suit you and you may want to try them out.
The soup seems to have become smoother and richer from when they were at Golden Mile, sweet, prawny, and very drinkable. Neither Singaporean nor Penang – a savoury sweet style of its own.

Overall, Prawn Noodles at OPC are unlike other prawn noodles in Singapore. It is unique, delicious and at ramen esque standard.
Will I Return Again? If you love prawn noodles, I will recommend One Prawn & Co for its rich prawn broth. Note that parking can be a challenge along Macpherson Road as lots are limited, and you may have better parking luck along Jalan Anggerek.
