It was an excellent meal today either way, featuring not just high-quality seafood cooked delicately, but also attentive service and gorgeous porcelainware.
Available from S$118++ per person, this exclusive five-course menu with three glasses of Champagne, will be available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. until 15 November 2020.
Food wise, there is no dish which I did not enjoy, and I would gladly be back for more of the dim sum again.
The restaurant has elegant private dining rooms that are perfect for small meetings, parties, birthday celebrations or even just a change from home.
The Black Truffle & Porcini-Crusted Center-Cut Wagyu Filet ($118++) is impossibly tender and lean, dusted with porcini mushroom seasoning and black truffle zest, before being broiled and topped balsamic and roasted shallot butter for an explosion of flavours.
The steaks are expectedly great but I am particularly impressed with the seafood and vegetable dishes.
Lunch was rounded off pleasantly with the dainty Petite Fours, served with spritz of edible scent, exclusively curated for Mandarin Oriental Singapore.
All options include a dainty selection of Petit Fours served with a spritz of edible scent exclusive to Mandarin Oriental, Singapore.
Pencai is only available for the Harmoney menu at $160 per guest with a minimum of 6 diners.
Hits and misses but the ambiance is quite unrivaled - feels like I am dining in a courtyard!
A feast with wines and alcohols, perhaps a must would be this Roasted Australian Grass-Fed Rib Eye ($265), served with assorted roasted potatoes, sauteed vegetables, accompanied by red wine sauce.
Enjoy a slew of traditional Delhi dishes from both the Indian specialties station as well as their live stations which are set up exclusively for this festival.
Mention Melt Café and international cuisine comes to mind but this time, they have gone all indian.
Besides the selection of CNY delights specially curated for Reunion Dinner, Lo Hei Lunch and Dinner, guests can also enjoy the sumptuous buffet spread of the award-winning restaurants.
I have always enjoyed my dining experience at Colony, love the space and quality of the food.
Together with its swanky ambience, this spot is one I would recommend over and over again to friends. It is certainly the most value-for-money hotel buffet in Singapore.
On the bar bites side of things, the lemongrass-perfumed stuffed Chicken Wings (Thai chilli, scallion) makes a welcome return but in a more amenable portion serving, while new stomach-filling bedfellows include the Gyu-Katsu Sando (breaded Wagyu beef, bulldog sauce), Lobster Roll (Boston lobster, brioche bun, chive, radish) and crispy Tiger Prawns (Masala mayo, curry leaves).
A great place to chill the afternoon away and a classy bar by night, MO Bar has recently celebrated its first anniversary.
All in all, I think it’s pretty cool to be chilling down at the Esplanade, have a meal or some drinks with your makan kakis, caressed by the marina breeze, attention interrupted by live band music from the amphitheater, and passing crowds.
Overall, Mischief is a decent alternative to the more crowded nightlife spots elsewhere.
Great place to chill, watch soccer with a beer tower (or two) and your best buddies.

Old Satay Mee Goreng, Mee Goreng, Gluttons Bay, Makansutra, Singapore Hawker, Come on folks SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL HAWKER, KF Seetoh
Makansutra Gluttons Bay recently launched a hugely successful $19 nett all-you-can-eat zhi char buffet.
Michelin starred or not, I applaud the guts of Chef Li putting modern sin cuisine on the table. It is not easy getting creative with food that we Singaporeans have known all our lives to be cheap, affordable and tasty.
Overall the meal was pleasant and I did enjoy but I’m sure there are even more interesting dishes that I’ve yet to try.
If there is a place that you are looking at for a nice business lunch or a romantic meal, somehow I feel that Labyrinth would not disappoint.
I was at their Esplanade outlet for the dinner session, and it has a luxurious contemporary interior with a view of the open kitchen.
Those familiar with No Signboard Seafood may not even recognize their new menu with the addition of so many new fusion dishes. Only time will tell if these will eventually become classics one day.
It is really expensive for hawker food. We will probably not return for dinner, but they have set lunch promotion which gives better value.
I enjoyed both the original pure prawn soup and souped up soup, but like the classic original a bit more as it is more unique and not easily replicated.
Anyway, the noodles were probably the best part of the dish, especially with its bits of pork crackling in there.
This is definitely a little more pricey than the normal dining restaurant. Our bill for 2 totaled to a whopping SGD140++. It was money well spent, and definitely worth it!
3 reviews of Orgo Bar and Lab "I only came here for drinks, hence have not had the chance to try the food, but I can safely say that they have pretty impressive cocktails and a good selection of wines. The real winner for me, however, was the…
In a city that has in recent years embraced rooftop bars, Orgo certainly offers all the attractions of this mode- open outdoors environment, spectacular views, and a “chilled” relaxed atmosphere.
Now we know a foodie hideout to get good local food in a comfortable environment at reasonable prices, right in the dining and entertainment core of Singapore.
enjoyable dinner for me & my friends. i took 1/2 the rice. the ingredient items were all quite good including the otah for the nasi lemak set.
This is probably the only place in Singapore where we can find lontong, tom yum pumpkin soup, Portuguese baked cod, Moroccan chicken tagine under one roof.
Although the food is considered pricey for local food, the portions are big and some dishes are even fit for 2 to share!
Food served at Alter Ego are generally rich and flavourful. It is certainly not for the light palate.
At AlterEgo, it's really go big or go home. If you've already swallowed down so much cheese and flavors earlier, why still bother about the cream? :D
A great hangout in town that coffee junkies should probably make a visit to, especially to soak up the good vibes with delicious cuppas before it gets too crowded.
Definitely a place to drop by to enjoy a cup of good coffee at Sanity Coffee Bar, and some local indie music occasionally.
