The Chip Bee Gardens stretch of cafes and boutiques at Holland Village has always been popular, and with the arrival of Keong Saik Bakery’s second outlet, it’s about to get more buzzing; especially since perennial favourites like % Arabica and Sunday Folks continue to draw in the crowds. Keong Saik
Overall, I am excited to try the other bakes of the bakery when I have more stomach space or more dining party but it would probably be a takeaway since dining there has a 1 hour limit which is not exactly the best for friend to catch up. As for the drinks, I would give it a miss
The Orh Nee Croissant Cube and Orh Nee Cake are available in limited quantities daily for walk-in only, but the Orh Chu Bee is available both for walk-in and pre-orders online in slices and whole cakes.
Overall, many of my friends swear by their cakes are the best among other cafes.
Some of the signature items from the shack can now be found at Nesuto so that you can have your savoury and sweet all in one place!
Overall, Nesuto was an attractive cafe in Tanjong Pagar for a tea break and indulge in some sweet desserts.
Overall, I loved the bolo buns and definitely one of the best in Singapore; in fact, can match one of the better ones in Hong Kong. I would return and enjoy the buns at the cafe and try the other versions as well
Very nice bolo bun, with a crust that was just the right mix of crispy, crumbly and sweet, soft and fluffy bun, and rich and melting butter inside. The milk tea was nice and thick too, with a good tea fragrance.
Food at Champion Bolo Bun is focused on Hong Kong style bolo bun and drinks.
For those looking to chill, and unwind, head over to this homey no-frills cafe for a cup of joe, or one of their handmade bakes.
The bakes here are pretty good, and my only regret is that I didn’t have more of them! I’d definitely choose them over the hot food options for future visits. The decor and homely vibe is lovely and inviting as well, and despite the fact that all tables were occupied, the cafe never felt too noisy.
Food at Baker's Bench Bakery is all about European style breads and pastries, with influences from British, German, French, and Polish cuisines.
Pantler River Valley review with pictures of cakes with prices, drinks menu, cafe interior and some takeaway items
Their doughnuts come in several flavours, namely earl grey, cinnamon, matcha and vanilla. The matcha doughnut was so-so, as it was unfortunately a little dry, and was definitely left on the counter for more than a day.
I will be back to try the Strawberry Shortcake though. After all, how could you resist such a beautiful-looking classic?
If you are visiting Singapore, do have the uniquely Singapore diamond egg tart on your bucket list. Try it at Tong Heng - in the sweet eggy pastry you will be taking home food memories and a bit of the Singapore story.
Tong Heng is renowned for its Egg Tart (鸡蛋挞, SGD1.70).
Tong Heng is a traditional pastry shop which still makes things the old school way.
This instagrammable pancake cafe is definitely worth a visit. Prices are also pretty reasonable. I’ll be dreaming of these brilliant pancakes for awhile, I think.
There are many pancake cafes in Singapore, and I do think Belle-Ville does offer some of the best out there. If only they can improving on their speed and system.
The cafe has been converted from a Wedding / Bridal Photography Shop in late year of 2014. Interior is out of my expectation.
The most creative item here, however, is the modified ang ku kueh.
Tanjong Pagar Food Center welcomes Kueh Ho Jiak to their tenant list and having been around since 1930.
Ang Ku Kueh is a small oval-shaped Chinese pastry that has chewy and sticky glutinous rice flour skin wrapped around a sweet filling that fills the centre of the pastry.
Food at Kele is all about desserts, but also depends on which stall you go to; the original focuses on traditional Chinese confectionery, while the other focuses on modern French Japanese confectionery.
Ambience at Kele is casual and simple.
They are not only famous for their baos, but they also serve up some pretty amazing Japanese fare.
They are the first to use traditional Chinese mantou filled with local and international flavours.
Unlike most generic cafes which serves the same old breakfast fare or waffles, Bao Makers serves a way more unique menu and none of the boring stuff. As the name suggests, they make Baos.
Whiskit Bakery & Cafe is a quiet place to have dessert and coffee in Chinatown.
I recommend that you give them a try if you’re in the Chinatown area!
Just a short walk from Chinatown MRT (Exit F), Whiskit Bakery & Cafe is a great place to take a short break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The cafe space is simple and rectangular in shape. A fully stocked cake display is situated at the head of the space. All the cakes looked beautiful.
hidden gems Paaru Cafe and Paaru Bakery give food loving Singaporeans a very good reason to trek up to Pearl’s Hill Terrace
Their high-quality artisan cakes are heavenly. Service was polite and ended with a friendly smile. I will not mind having my future birthday cakes from Chef Yamashita.

So Good Bakery & Cafe in 100AM Mall has an extensive list of cakes and pastries for takeaway – ranging from egg tarts and polo bun to chocolate truffle cake
Overall, Leckerbaer has very pretty and delicious pastries which are slightly on the pricier end but the designs are delicately unique and the Småkagers cannot be found elsewhere and would make the perfect gifts for your sweet tooth friends.
