Pan-fried Pumpkin Past 香煎南瓜饼 - MYR 13.50 超爱!!! 不懂形容 自己来吃
Here's the location.
They also served a variety of handmade balls too where for first timer you can go for the Assorted Balls Platter (RM 26.50) which comes with their signature Teochew Style Fish Balls, Soft Bone Pork Meat Balls, Black Pepper Pork Meat Balls and Cuttlefish Balls.
Assorted Paste Platter RM48.80 Summergirl’s favourite. A trio of paste – Ebiko Prawn paste, Pork Paste, Paste of the Day. There’s also so original Fish Paste, Pork Paste, as well as more interesting flavours such as Dried Scallop Fish Paste, Century Egg Fish Paste and Otak-otak Fish Paste to try on.
The hotpot ingredients are of premium quality, expect to find handmade fish balls, fresh fish paste, imported meats, luxurious seafood etc on the menu (you may find more info on their website). We found most of the hotpot ingredients were fresh... at least the hefty price tags are well-justified
Chicken Pongteh – is a typical Peranakan dish that uses fermented bean paste as its core ingredient. This is a homey and wonderful dish.
A home for Baba-Nyonya treat! With a wide range of food selection on the menu, this restaurant houses many options of Baba-Nyonya food for the visitors to savor. We have tried out their Char Kuey Teow (costs RM 20.00) which comes with large prawns mixed with spices that delivers an appetizing experience.
An authentic Nyonya dish full of flavors and spicy too. I was biting into the pieces of chilli padi and that's the one that gives me the oomph. The chicken pieces are cut into small pieces and all are meat pieces with no bones which is good.
A new concept by Zouk Group who opens up the first-ever vibe dining restaurant at Resorts World Genting as its launch pad, FUHU Restaurant & Bar is a unique dining experience that offers contemporary Chinese cuisine by Michelin-starred Hong Kong chef Alvin Leung, served with exciting twists in a fun and lively atmosphere.
Signature dishes on the menu includes the FUHU Roasted Duck, complete with truffle morel sauce as the choice accompaniment, Aromatic Crispy Duck, Boston Lobster Noodles with ginger and scallions, Szechuan-style Hot & Sour Lobster Soup, The Generals Fried Chicken & Waffle, and Quark Rice Soup.
Aromatic Crispy Duck Hidangan utama termasuklah FUHU Itik panggang dengan sos truffle morel sebagai pilihan iringan, Aromatic Crispy Duck, Boston Lobster Noodles dengan halia dan scallions, Supt panas dan masam gaya Szechuan, The Generals Ayam goreng dan waffle, Sup Nasi Quark.
Verdict: I can’t say it’s a perfect meal as I’ve had a better lamb belly pot elsewhere but the porridge was more than decent. If you’re in Genting Highlands and need some comfort food, I reckon the porridge and double boiled soup can be an ideal option.
Food here is nice and the environment is comfortable too.
Overall we enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the restaurant very much, but not going to visit again so soon because sometimes when thinking about having local food is like really common, and could get them anywhere, some even tastier. Nonetheless if spending for the ambiance and once a while just want to splurge on ourselves and family & friends, it's still worthwhile for a visit. Sometimes it's not about the place or food, it's about whom we have the meal with.
We personally enjoyed Braised Wagyu Beef Noodles. Generous amount of moist, tender wagyu beef chunks, topped over slurpy noodles. Soup is clean in taste with a lovely depth of meat sweetness, flavours enhanced with pickled vegetables.
Braised Pork Rib with Scallion Dry Noodles. (RM 34.90) Next we have this awesomely prepared Braised Pork Rib with Scallion Dry Noodles. Have these springy noodles which is served with the soft and yet juicy braised pork ribs. Every mouthful comes awesomely delicious and make it to our must have list as well.
场景广大,又舒适!
店家也剛剛推出了好幾款手工點心。
It's always stomach-comforting to have steaming hot soup under cold, chilly weather; for such experience at Genting Highlands, make your way to Zok Noodle House. Founded by a group of Malaysians, the brand aims to bring Hong Kong and Macanese delights to Malaysia. There are a few branches across Klang Valley, though the menu is slightly different for the branch at Genting Highlands, most of its signature dishes are still on offer. Prices are pretty reasonable and affordable, for the fact that you are dining at the mountain top. But do beware on the serving portion, it can be a little overwhelming for petite eaters. This is a good place for a quick, affordable family meal.
We started our soup of the day with their premium soup which is the Mushroom Fish Bladder Soup (RM 63.80 (member))/ RM 64.90 ( Non-Member). It is believe to promote health and strengthen body system as well. The soup comes soothing and warm and packed with the goodeness ingredients such as cordyceps, scallops, wolf-berry and more.
Fancy eating Ipoh Bak Kut Teh at Resorts World Genting! Yup, that was exactly what I did when I was taken on a food trail on the mountains to try out the ...
We also get to taste their unique Ipoh Bak Kut Teh (Small: Genting Member RM 32.80, Non Genting Member RM 35.00 ; Big: Genting Member RM 64.70, Non-Member RM 68.00). Bak Kut Teh is a type of pork bone dish cooked in herbal broth for hours. Ah Yip’s Bak Kut Teh has an aromatic broth which is rich in flavor but less oily. We love it!
XO Claypot Fish Head Noodles This is their in-house signature dish. Fresh fish head fried into pieces and served together with thick vermicelli. The soup tastes savory as it is cooked with salted vegetable, tomatoes, yam slices and Tofu. Not to forget also the XO sauce that blends inside the soup.
It was quite a surprise encounter when I learnt that the iconic place where I had the glorious fish head noodle in Petaling Jaya previously , has now came up uphill to titillate the global taste buds with its toothsome heritage- Goon Wah Fish Head Noodles.
Besides Claypot XO Fish Head Noodles, the items that we were served at the recommendation of the restaurateur included Fried Pork Maw, Pattaya Tofu and Lobster Balls.
Overall, we were impressed by the food at C Chuan Village at Sky Avenue Genting Highlands
Deep Fried Crispy Prawns with Mayonnaise Crispy batter-fried shrimp tossed in a creamy, sweet mayonnaise mixture. One simple dish loved by all.
We were told that Honey Roasted Hong Kong Style Chicken Wings (RM48) is one of the must try dishes in Ming Ren. The chicken was slippery smooth and the flesh was tender. Taste wise it was mainly sweet but not overpowering hence you’d be able to taste the chicken. The meat was indeed marinated well with sauces. In short, this dish was quite delicious, not fantastic, but good enough.
The conventional steamboat meal is now being extravagantly transformed at RWG where this warming repast is showcased with the freshest live seafood and premium ingredients at this spacious seafood-centric restaurant. 3 different steamboat packages are offered here, so diners could make the most suitable selections from an array of raw and marinated ingredients, that later be cooked at their tables of their preferred room- either private space or the usual dining hall for the walk-in patrons.
