A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
All in all, I do not mind splurging once in a while for such delicious lobster rolls.
Overall, I think the B&L Benedict from Easter Brunch Menu is worth trying with its decent portion size and sweet lobster meat.
This Valentine's Day, treat you and your loved one with an exclusive three-course sharing menu at Burger & Lobster, their Raffles Hotel Singapore restaurant.
After Happy Chef and Lala Bee Hoon , I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to categorically state that I am literally stuffed. But when the G...
NUDE Grill is able to serve quality seafood at reasonable prices as their family business is Hai Sia Seafood, a 3rd generation seafood wholesaler.
The burger patty was a tad too pink for my liking, but it was surely moist and juicy!
Overall verdict of our experience here was definitely worth many shots, enjoyable, and a place worth revisiting time and again.
The Three Peacocks (‘TTP’) are known to be a place to go for a great outdoor BBQ experience. They offer an extensive range of meat and seafood for BBQ and they are packed every day.
The Three Peacocks buffet review
The Three Peacocks at Labrador Park offers just that, and a ton of good food at the same time! You can expect to be greeted by Thai night market vibes as you step into the brightly lit open space with fairy lights hanging all over.
I must say that with a price tag of $48++ for two, JUMBO Seafood’s afternoon tea gives you a bang for your buck.
Kindly note the Dim Sum Afternoon Tea Set is exclusively available at Ion Orchard outlet only from 2pm to 530pm daily (exclude public holidays) for dine in.
With the opening of JUMBO Seafood at ION Orchard, it marks a milestone in the restaurant's brand history as it is their first outlet along Singapore's premium shopping belt.

Price wise, this comes cheaper than Da Dong and the waiting time is probably shorter as well. It is a good alternative if you want to have a competent bowl of prawn noodles in Joo Chiat.
The stock was more crustaceany and prawny, plus thick and layered, but not so sweet. The prawns were really fresh and sweet, so much so that you could pull the flesh off the shell very easily. Wah Kee was still the gold standard, of the prawny rather than porky broth as it was here, although this was really not bad.
Seafood Paradise has to be one of my favorite Chinese seafood restaurant in the whole of Singapore. With hearty portions that is value for the quality, Seafood Paradise seeks to marry both traditional and modern Chinese techniques found in many types of Chinese cuisine, such as Cantonese, Teochew, and Hokkien.
It’s Seafood Paradise’s 1st Anniversary at Vivocity. So it means time to celebrate! With a 50% discount off its signature dishes! Memorise these dates below because 50% off is a really …
The food at Seafood Paradise is enjoyable and I can see myself coming here for family gatherings.
Overall, I have eaten at Ah Orh at least 3 to 4 times over the years and I do notice that in my recent visit, the standard of the dishes is not on par with previous years.
Ah Orh Teochew Food Delivery / Takeaway
Very fat, creamy, salty and fresh oysters, on top of a fragrant and unoily egg omelette.
BeBe’s undetermined birthday @ Shao on Frankel Avenue was wonderful fun, and a wonderful meal. So family oriented and friendly - staff amazing with food so masterful and delicious - must try on East Coast!!!
Shao BBQ Restaurant on Frankel Avenue is a new place from a top Chef, Jack Ding. Coming from UK where he studied and set 1st restaurant up - incredible.
I will be back at Shao to try other dishes and will have encores of the Marinated Chilled Roe Crab, Oyster Porridge with Sotong Sausage and Luffa Pancake.
Lastly each of us was served with a cup of tea or coffee in completion of the set. The milk was served separately and can be added in base on one's preference.
Old school restaurant serving old school hot plate chicken chop, nicely crispy outside and tender inside, with a peppery and savoury black pepper sauce. The baked potato was really soft, rich and creamy too.
Looking at their menu, they have attractive lunch sets set differently for each day of the week as well as weekends. There is also one lady server whom I thought that the service was friendly and impeccable. I will be back again for them.
Service at New Ubin Seafood is friendly and attentive. Staff accord each table personalised attention, slowly writing down and verifying orders.
The Garang Grill By New Ubin Seafood is a great place for casual dining and relaxing with family and friends, particularly for those who like snacks and finger food with drinks. Am planning to return for more!
Am planning to return for more!
One of the most famous and often touted as the best Teochew fish soup stall in Singapore.
This is definitely a comforting bowl and something that I will go for on rainy days and anytime.
Overall the food at JUMBO Seafood is good, it is a bit pricey due to the currency exchange. We probably expected more from the taste of the Herbal Drunken Live Prawns and the Signature Chili Crabs. The service here is good, something we must mention. We will definitely come back again in the future after we taste other Chili Crabs in other restaurants in Singapore. No regrets visiting JUMBO Seafood East Coast Seafood Centre again in Singapore.
An surprising twist, both ingredient combined well together, and each individual ingredient has their own unique and wasn't overpowering.
Overall, it was quite a nostalgic and nice experience eating at Jumbo again as this place has been around since I was like 10.
Overall, Forbidden Duck served a nice Peking Duck. Although we only tried their Signature Slow Roasted Duck, we find the it very promising plus we get to taste the flair of the Demon Chef. We’ll make a return visit to try their Peking Duck and the dim sum here. Cheers!!
Lunch at Forbidden Duck Singapore was one of the best meal after Madame Fan Singapore. Highly recommend.
They were friendly and cheerful. Even my diva sister acknowledged that they did an excellent job.
All in all, the food was tasty and strongly flavoured plus we got acquainted with a new fish name. Price point could be better though.
Ambience at Tan Yu 探鱼 is modern industrial, with a grungy street feel.
There was a green pepper limbo fish that was not bad.
Overall, the service was impeccable and the environment was bright and mood-lifting with the beautiful waterfront view as part of your dining experience.
Overall, the dim sum buffet is filling, and the portion is quite generous considering the price offered. It is value for money in terms of value and dollar sense.
If dim sum isn’t enough to fill you up, the buffet menu also includes soup, and rice and noodle dishes.
I had a pleasant dining experience at Humpback where the dishes I had are generally light and refreshing in flavours. I like the slight Japanese touches to the dishes, and this is a great dining space ideal for an intimate group size. Good wine and seafood-centric dishes, so why not?
I won't order the charred cabbage again though; it tasted fine, but was a ripoff at S$17 (US$13) for two skimpy one inch slices.
My favorite is the silverfish fritter. The tiny fishes are like little flavor bombs that release bursts of savoriness as you bite upon each one.
Overall, there are quite a few breakfast options in Ga-Hock. Having said that, Roasted Meat Noodles will not be my priority choice as I preferred other food there over this.
Popular Cze Char Place
The food quality was good, and the serving time was fast. Highly recommend you to visit their upper serangoon shopping centre outlet. Black pepper is a must to order dish!!
We visited the Punggol Point Branch which is located at the tranquil Punggol Settlement. It is a good place to feast, unwind and chill out with friends and family. The ambience is also romantic in the evening, making this place a popular spot for couples. Enjoy the scrumptious seafood spread before taking a lovely stroll along the promenade.
Chili Crab - not the best I had but it's still tasty.
deepfried big intestines done very well..tasty
The wah tan hor fun was really solid – silky smooth with wok hei, thick gravy, nice eggy fragrance and fresh accompanying ingredients like prawns and sliced fish.
The expansive menu means that you have to return multiple times to try all of Hoy Yong’s one-of-a-kind dishes!
