Pasta stirfried local style so it tastes like mee goreng. Very flavourful. From the ala carte menu, it costs MYR 15.80+ (6% SST = MYR 16.75 nett) from Brew House, SS2, PJ.
Customers do come here for the food and beer.
A portion of Moo Ping (3 sticks) for MYR 14.80 nett. The pork meat is well marinated, is very soft and pinkish though it was well cooked so I don't think I will order it again.
Sweet and Sour Fish Rice Lunch Set at MYR 10.80+ (6% GST = MYR 11.45 nett). I asked for half portion of rice so you can see from the photo above, it is a mini sized rice portion. The fish meat is firm so it is ok. I think they wrote on the menu that they use dory for their fish and chips so I guess this fish is dory too but this dory tastes ok so I will order this dish again.
The main dishes I tried didn't quite endear me with their taste possibly because it was just too much meat (for me) in one sitting. The draw factor for its popularity is certainly its low prices (with most mains costing below RM20) and big portions. If you're ok with the unimaginative and simple taste of localised western food (and some processed food forming part of the ingredients), then you'd probably be ok with the food here.
