For the meat lovers, THIRTY8 offers Australian 'Diamantina' Red Wagyu or Black Angus Beef from Stanbroke Farms. We had the rib eye (350g, marbling score 6 - RM350), which was thoughtfully sliced for sharing. Beautifully tender, melt-in-the-mouth and flavorful meat, we certainly enjoyed this and went straight to steak heaven. So so good! I'm also eyeing the Tomahawk for my next visit, very reasonably priced at RM350 for 900g.

Ra-Ft Breakfast, 33 ringgit I liked the fact that when I requested for scrambled eggs to be ‘runny’, it came runny. You’d be surprised how many times I’d have to return the plate for them to get it right the second time, elsewhere … many times. Thank god it was not the case here. Here, they listen. As you’d be able to see, this dish comes with a slice of homemade bread, mushrooms, baked beans, roasted tomatoes, bacon, chicken sausage, scrambled eggs and mashed potato. It was good, yummy. This place is great to cater those who are looking for a place to hang out after work or for some sports action. It is hot enough for one to let down their hair on a Friday night and cool enough to saunter in with the family for the weekends.

U.S Potato dishes that should not miss out when dining at Fuego during with U.S. Potato Culinary Festival 2018 until 30 of July 2018. Salt Baked Potato & Foie Gras RM 70 At first glance, it looks like just a baked potato. But let me reassure you that Feugo's salt-baked potato is anything but ordinary. Using the U.S russet potato, it’s texture is sublimely smooth and fluffy because salt baked will traps in moisture and provides for even cooking that produces incredibly light and moist potatoes. Light aroma and fluffy texture of salt baked potato is goes well with foie gras, literally.

One of the signature (and popular) dishes here is the Nasi Ayam (RM55), aka chicken rice. Guests can opt for either roasted or poached chicken. We went for the roasted chicken and I was impressed by the generous portion that arrived. Tastewise, the chicken was tender and comes with three different dipping sauce - chilli, ginger and sweet soy sauce. The rice was pretty good too, as it was fragrant and flavorful. Overall, a pretty authentic rendition of a Malaysian favourite.

Bankara Ramen - Avenue K Restaurant

Lot 2-7, Level 2, Avenue K Mall, 156 Jalan Ampang Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The word ”Bankara” is a colloquial term that was once used in Japan to best describe an individual outstanding and unique style amidst the swarm of a conformist society. Bankara’s brand values and product offering are unmistakably Japanese, yet differentiated from the market competitors in tantalising the customers dining experience, namely the palette and sensory immersion. Embracing the philosophy “Cooking by Heart”, Bankara brand is the result of Mr. Kusano’s desire to constantly innovate and improve the taste of Japanese ramen. Drawing upon his family’s expertise handed down through the generations, Mr. Kusano embarked on a quest in selecting the finest of ingredients and cooking techniques, to develop a new ramen soup recipe. In 1998, the “Impact” taste so broadly associated with the brand, heralded the arrival of the Bankara Signature Ramen. With over 60 premium outlets spanning across Japan, Indonesia and Thailand, we proudly present Bankara Raman Malaysia.

My Personal Opinion I'm not a big fan of ramen and don't have it often enough for the very reasons why people find ramen appealing....for the intensely rich-flavoured pork bone broth and fatty meat. Maybe I should try a lighter soup base...or chicken ramen next time since I prefer clear, milder flavours. Still a worthy ramen option to those who adore big, bold flavours! ;)

They were so tender and succulent, whereby each bite of the meat was very well and evenly marinated with intense flavour from the spice. I guess the picture does not do justice to this dark-coloured spiced meat, but trust me- it was really good and thou should not miss ordering this whenever patronizing Mama San.

Likes: Probably the only Indian cuisine served in a fancy way in Klang Valley - something different from your mamak stall. Every dish comes with a story, and it makes the culinary journey much more interesting :) Dislikes: Consider serving the dishes slower - gives us more time to relax and chill. First three dishes is probably better off serving as solo... Cocktails are ridiculously priced with subpar standards, what's the point of having a pretty item but merely any alcohol in it. Parking is a hazard too - only 4-5 spots and for RM20 it's really much better off requesting Uber/Grab.

Pan Seared Scallop RM34.00 served as the best starter (entree) dish in Tanzini featuring – Scallops with Shimeji, Shiitake, Cup Mushroom and Green Bean Puree. Scallops are well seasoned and seared which giving a perfect brownish layer (already delicious while eating it alone), tastes even more flavourful with the various combination of fungus and smooth green bean puree. Personally will recommend this dish for those who interested in having fresh scallops with unique AAA flavours.
