We enjoyed the Shoyu Soba with Char Siu ($16++) which had the same flavourful soy-based broth enriched with dashi.
I'll definitely be back to try more another time.
I personally prefer the Kamo Abura Soba over the Paitan version mostly because I was smitten by the duck broth.

If waiting for a table at the cafe is not on the cards for you, the range of savoury, and sweet, baked treats will also be available for takeaway, together with the typical tea and coffee selections, and even kombucha.
Recommended by Wong Ah Yoke of The Straits Times, from a chef turned home cook turned cafe owner. It was not cheap at $20, but the curry was flavourful, spicy and not the lemak type like Ipoh curry, and there was an abundance of toppings like poached chicken, roast pork, char siew, pig’s skin, braised pig’s ear, poached prawns, and quail egg.
Small Tables in Pacific Plaza at Scotts Road is where you can enjoy Ipoh dishes, Ipoh pastries and coffee in smart casual surroundings.
The new comforting Four Treasure Rice ($11.80+) by Kam’s Roast had three signatures plus one dishes assembled into one; Roast Duck, Soya Chicken, BBQ Pork Char Siu and salted egg. Extremely valued for money however, they were only available for take-outs.
I will definitely come back another day when I crave for their Hong Kong styled Roast Meat and the must-try Red Bean Soup.
Overall, we had mixed feelings about our lunch at Kam’s Roast Singapore. We were happy that we did not have to queue and the duck was pretty good. We can see why it won a Michelin Star.
If you’re in orchard road and looking for a cheap restaurant meal, you just might want to visit Kam’s Roast at Pacific Plaza. Set lunches start from $8.80.
来到甘牌当然也要点用招牌的甘牌烧鸭(全只$55),沿袭镛记的秘方,早已不需多加介绍。而我更感兴趣的是,到底什么时候才能在新加坡尝到烧鹅?
Kam's Roast marinated dishes is a taste of heritage.

Don’t miss the Giant Grouper-themed menu at Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant. It’s an epicurean journey that will leave an indelible impression. Make your reservations here.
Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant has refreshed it’s a la carte menu and launched the seasonal Sri Lankan Crab menu recently.
Overall, it was an excellent culinary journey of Argentinian cuisine. While some of the dishes look familiar, we find the taste uniquely different due to the use of Argentinian flavour and ingredients. Salud! Cheers!
To complement the food, Head Bartender Sophia Kang has also teamed up with Restaurant and Bar Manager Gabriel Carlos to present three chocolate-themed cocktails for the season.

All in all, I do not mind splurging once in a while for such delicious lobster rolls.
They don’t take reservations so customers in the know will arrive by 11.45 am to chope a place when they open at 12noon!
I am always in a fix on where to curb my hunger at The Centrepoint ; there were just too many choices at Gastro+ and my simple mind obviou...
Misato certainly served delicious Japanese food and they paid special attention to the cutlery and utensils too. However, it is a little slow. We would still recommend. Therefore, dine when you have the time to spend.
Basilico @ Regent Hotel Singapore ‘s brunches and dinner takes on delicious festive twists with a gastronomical tour around Italy.

Sun With Moon Japanese Restaurant on Orchard Road allows exploration of Japanese culinary delights in a chic & contemporary setting.
Sun with Moon at Wheelock Place is one of those places I always see when I drive past but have never been to – until now.
SUN with MOON, the popular Japanese dining concept, is proud to announce the launch of its Early Summer Menu. Beat the heat with an array of delectable dishes from satisfying savories to sweet tooth-curing treats that celebrate the flavors of the season.

Hua Ting Restaurant is said to be a top Cantonese restaurant in Singapore, winning many accolades over the years, including recognition as ...
This famous Chinese restaurant at the Singapore Orchard Hotel is a stalwart on the dining scene. They have arrangements for delivery or food pickup from the hotel driveway which is always our preference whenever it is available.
This noodle chain apparently commands long lines back in Malaysia, mainly for a broth that is made from forty different kinds of local fish bones (313 Orchard Road #B3-37, 6363-5323). So I was disappointed when I took a sip of it to find that it wasn't anywhere as savory as I would've thought, and in fact was slightly sweet.
Food at GO Noodle House is Malaysian Chinese cuisine, focused on soup noodles with their signature broth. The menu is extensive, with a good range. Quality of dishes is consistent, tasty and delicious.
Good texture going on with the toppings but the noodles on their own weren't impressive at all.
The new menu and concept of Alma is definitely a good change for me, where the execution and presentation of the courses display the finesse expected of a Michelin starred restaurant. The injection of Asian flavours in the menu is also a welcoming element for me.
One-Michelin starred restaurant Alma by Juan Amador Celebrates Its 6th Year with a Specially Curated Anniversary Menu which will be available from 1 to 30 September 2021. Choose between the special 5-course lunch & dinner menu (from 12 to 2:30pm, 6 to 10pm) at S$198++/pax, or the grand 8-course dinner menu (from 6 to 10pm) at S$298++/pax.
Pasta and all that were quite standard. Swimmer crab pasta had generous amounts of crab, and tasted like curry pasta. The pork jowl was soft with an interesting salty savoury sauce, and the rice was like a fragrant and tasty glutinous rice, without the stickiness.
The International buffet spread at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel’s Crossroads is back! One of the more convenient hotels to get to as it’s smack above the Orchard Road MRT Station…
Personally, I prefer Pink as it is in hues of beautiful pink. Concocted with vodka, lemon juice, rose liquor and rose syrup, it is easy to drink and slightly more lemony.
The huge piece of T-Bone ($168) features a luscious and tender 400-day grain-fed Australian wagyu, served with choice of bearnaise, black pepper jus or red wine jus.
These too cute to resist pineapple tarts are leaf shaped - reminds me of their logo, don't you think? Just perfect with a cup of hot tea.

Finally trying out Maddie’s Kitchen! They are a hidden gem providing reasonably priced zi char meals on Level 2 of Far East Plaza.
Overall, Maddie’s Kitchen offers premium zi char dishes at affordable price points, which might be great for those looking for a pocket-friendly meal after a day out shopping in Orchard.
The beef hor-fun was stir-fried with bittergourd and salted black beans. It was delicious.
The famous Shiok Maki and Pitan Tofu were great, and the Bacon Enoki called out to me but was less remarkable.
My last visit to Koh Grill & Sushi Bar was almost five years ago and I remember I waited quite a while in the queue before my family finally...
Koh Grill & Sushi Bar needs no introduction especially for Japanese food fans in Singapore.
Overall, the service is efficient. Food prices may be a little steep but in terms of standard and quality, its commendable. Since there are a number of outlets, I do not mind revisiting for Thai Cuisine at any of their restaurant.
A place I don’t mind returning again and again, if they keep their quality consistent.
The only things I thought would have improved it was some crushed peanuts and some mint leaves.
