The prices may be very steep and you might cry after seeing the bill, but I promise you, it is a treat you should give yourself at least once in your lifetime.
Do not leave Edge without trying their amazing Nama Chocolates!
Most of the dishes were executed well and there are plenty of classic dishes that impressed us.
We finally made our way to Colony for “The Journey” Afternoon Tea at Colony, Ritz Carlton Singapore recently. It was a leisure Saturday afternoon tea date with beautiful settings and ambience.
We have been religiously visiting Ritz Carlton for the last few Decembers to enjoy their festive afternoon tea at the Chihuly Lounge. Alas, Chihuly Lounge which was famous for its afternoon tea is …
Besides the selection of CNY delights specially curated for Reunion Dinner, Lo Hei Lunch and Dinner, guests can also enjoy the sumptuous buffet spread of the award-winning restaurants.
I am very excited to share with you more about Peppermint and its all-you-can-eat a la carte Peranakan buffet.
I never walk into a buffet expecting to be blown away, but I would say that the food at Peppermint is worthy of return visits.
Overall, the spread of Sizzlin’ Special by AquaMarine is too irresistible for meat lovers.

Available from 22 January to 25 February 2024, these delightful menus start at a price of S$128++ per person.
Overall, it was a treat testing the Meteoric Success Menu and Hai Tien Lo Superior Treasure Pot. All the dishes are beautifully plated and delivered multi-texture and in-depth flavour Cantonese flair. A total #Foodgasm dining experience. Cheers!!

I enjoyed my meal at Peach Blossoms this time much more than my first visit few years ago. It was fun having the Chef’s Tasting Menu since I literally have no idea what to expect, and it is that surprise element which makes the experience a more enjoyable and memorable one for me.
Peach Blossoms Dim Sum Lunch review. PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay Singapore with pictures of menu and Chinese restaurant interior
Food is generally quite good at Peach Blossoms, though the service pulls down the overall experience for me.
The restaurant has elegant private dining rooms that are perfect for small meetings, parties, birthday celebrations or even just a change from home.
The Black Truffle & Porcini-Crusted Center-Cut Wagyu Filet ($118++) is impossibly tender and lean, dusted with porcini mushroom seasoning and black truffle zest, before being broiled and topped balsamic and roasted shallot butter for an explosion of flavours.
The steaks are expectedly great but I am particularly impressed with the seafood and vegetable dishes.
Back at Cherry Garden to check out their CNY menu, they're known to luxe up and size up dishes just for this festive season. We began the meal on a different note this year - mocktails!
Pencai is only available for the Harmoney menu at $160 per guest with a minimum of 6 diners.
Lunch was rounded off pleasantly with the dainty Petite Fours, served with spritz of edible scent, exclusively curated for Mandarin Oriental Singapore.
All options include a dainty selection of Petit Fours served with a spritz of edible scent exclusive to Mandarin Oriental, Singapore.

High Tea at the MO Bar is Asian Fusion themed at the moment. It started with a Lemongrass Pineapple Granita with a Coconut Kaffir Emulsion. Nice and light, a good way to start.
On the bar bites side of things, the lemongrass-perfumed stuffed Chicken Wings (Thai chilli, scallion) makes a welcome return but in a more amenable portion serving, while new stomach-filling bedfellows include the Gyu-Katsu Sando (breaded Wagyu beef, bulldog sauce), Lobster Roll (Boston lobster, brioche bun, chive, radish) and crispy Tiger Prawns (Masala mayo, curry leaves).
A great place to chill the afternoon away and a classy bar by night, MO Bar has recently celebrated its first anniversary.
It was a gastronomy lunch at Labyrinth where we experience the heritage, culture, and traditions of Singapore with such an innovative approach by Chef LG Han. The service is impeccable too!
Michelin starred or not, I applaud the guts of Chef Li putting modern sin cuisine on the table. It is not easy getting creative with food that we Singaporeans have known all our lives to be cheap, affordable and tasty.
Overall the meal was pleasant and I did enjoy but I’m sure there are even more interesting dishes that I’ve yet to try.
Keyaki Weekend Brunch Review at Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel - $75++, 9 course, sashimi, teppanyaki, grilled prawns, dessert ..
Overall, I visited the restaurant with pretty high expectations which were not met at all with the exception of the very picturesque garden perfect for that nice photo to reminisce about travelling in Japan.
Nonetheless, for $75+++, this 8 course brunch is quite worth it. Not quite exquisite, but quality Japanese food.
SBCD Millenia Walk Review - Lunch at Korean Tofu House restaurant Bulgogi Combo with beef Soontofu, Korean seafood pancake ...
Generally, I do enjoy Korean food, especially its grilled selection. But there were two dishes, that I tried before and told myself then, I ...
SBCD Tofu House has always been one of my favorites and a recent trip back only confirms it. The Seafood Sundubu is still a great dish with generous seafood and tofu and a great bite of spiciness t…
Food at The Dark Gallery is focused on desserts, specifically, dark chocolate pastries and ice cream. They offer tasting platters for the undecided, but generally, each dish is made with a single origin chocolate, using cocoa beans grown in a single geographic region, on sustainable farms.
The Basil & Passionfruit Sorbet, Milk Chocolate Ice Cream, In Chocolate Coated Waffle Bowl (SGD $10) was decent enough. Worth ordering!
Despite being a pretty new establishment in the F&B scene, The Dark Gallery is indeed a promising café, which does well in what they do best – artisan chocolates, and also features a wide selection to keep customers coming back for something different every time.
Millenia Walk, 9 Raffles Boulevard, #02-12/13, Singapore 039596, open Mon to Sun 11:45am to 2:30pm, 5:45 to 9:30pm
Service at Tomi Sushi is polite, efficient, attentive, and professional; well suited for a fine dining establishment, even though they're actually a casual dining place.
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
All in all, I think it’s pretty cool to be chilling down at the Esplanade, have a meal or some drinks with your makan kakis, caressed by the marina breeze, attention interrupted by live band music from the amphitheater, and passing crowds.
Food at Mischief is American inspired, with some South East Asian flavours. Think burgers, bar snacks, and beer.
Overall, Mischief is a decent alternative to the more crowded nightlife spots elsewhere.
As for food we had a roast pork served with bread dumpling ($29, picture above) and a baked salmon fillet ($29.90, picture below) from the regular menu. Both dishes tasted fine. Both the pork and fish were very well cooked, resulting in dry textures.
Given that I'm no beer drinker, I am so happy that Paulaner Brauhaus made sure that they also have an impressive food menu too.
Singapore's first and only authentic German microbrewery has a new stylish and dapper interior marked by a contemporary palette of light maple.
These are just a couple of dim sum Chef Shen would order again in a heart beat.
We liked all the items on the Kai Garden Set Lunch menu but especially the Peking duck, the glutinous rice and coconut puree. The lunch at $58++ per person was not cheap but we felt it was fair value. We had delectable quality food and we enjoyed the meal.
嘉苑(Kai Garden)位于滨海广场相当僻静的一角,开张三年来周边餐馆起起落落,嘉苑靠着一批熟客的支持,以及主厨深厚的功底,稳扎稳打。
