For the meat lovers, THIRTY8 offers Australian 'Diamantina' Red Wagyu or Black Angus Beef from Stanbroke Farms. We had the rib eye (350g, marbling score 6 - RM350), which was thoughtfully sliced for sharing. Beautifully tender, melt-in-the-mouth and flavorful meat, we certainly enjoyed this and went straight to steak heaven. So so good! I'm also eyeing the Tomahawk for my next visit, very reasonably priced at RM350 for 900g.

This round we also got to try the Wantan Mee @ RM9 and I was happy to see pun fei sau (half lean-half fat) cut of char siew given without requesting for it. Not only that, the noodles also came topped with crispy chee yau char...and that's why you can taste the fragrant lard oil in the sauce that's used to toss the noodles in. It may not be among the better ones that I've had, but overall, still a decent plate of wantan mee.

A plate of nasi lemak (MYR 3.50+) and one deep fried chicken thigh (MYR 5+) making it a total of MYR 8.50+ (MYR 9 nett). The rice is soft with a tinge of coconut milk. For my friend who do not eat much sambal, the rice can be a bit dry as this stall does not have any other curry gravy to go with the rice. For those who will mix the rice with the sambal, they won't find the rice to be dry.

Ra-Ft Breakfast, 33 ringgit I liked the fact that when I requested for scrambled eggs to be ‘runny’, it came runny. You’d be surprised how many times I’d have to return the plate for them to get it right the second time, elsewhere … many times. Thank god it was not the case here. Here, they listen. As you’d be able to see, this dish comes with a slice of homemade bread, mushrooms, baked beans, roasted tomatoes, bacon, chicken sausage, scrambled eggs and mashed potato. It was good, yummy. Every single item on the place was flavorful.

I once read a comment by a reader of eatdrinkkl and couldn't agree with him more...that we all get caught up with trying new places (I have to since I'm writing a food blog) and, more often than not, we get disappointed with these new outlets and would return to our regular 'tried and tested' outlets that we know will not disappoint....and that for me is a meal at Ra.Ft's :) Consistency is something that's extremely difficult to maintain and Ra.Ft has not let me down...their consistency in cooking, taste and presentation deserves a pat on the back. And the good news is...they've recently launched their Ra-Ft Loyalty Card to reward their loyal customers. We went for the roasted chicken and I was impressed by the generous portion that arrived. Likes: Probably the only Indian cuisine served in a fancy way in Klang Valley - something different from your mamak stall. Every dish comes with a story, and it makes the culinary journey much more interesting :) Dislikes: Consider serving the dishes slower - gives us more time to relax and chill. First three dishes is probably better off serving as solo... Cocktails are ridiculously priced with subpar standards, what's the point of having a pretty item but merely any alcohol in it. Parking is a hazard too - only 4-5 spots and for RM20 it's really much better off requesting Uber/Grab.

Pan Seared Scallop RM34.00 served as the best starter (entree) dish in Tanzini featuring – Scallops with Shimeji, Shiitake, Cup Mushroom and Green Bean Puree. The London Roast Duck is priced at RM98 for half a duck, or RM188 for a whole duck. The duck is marinated with five spice powder, chef's special salt and other spices, and subsequently given a vinegar bath and hung for 6-8 hours for it to thoroughly dry. Spring onion is added to the cavity and sealed to keep in the juices and it is then roasted in the traditional Apollo oven for 30 minutes. It gets a final bath in hot oil before serving with chef's special homemade plum sauce. The duck is undeniably tender with beautifully crisp skin, well-worthy of its title.

My Personal Opinion With an affordably-priced CNY set menu from as low as RM1,238, this place offers value-for-money sets for a hotel-based restaurant in the city to host one of your CNY dinners. The stand-out dishes for me were the zesty yet fragrant roast chicken, scrumptious fried rice and absolutely crispy ninko with fluffy yam. My Personal Opinion I'm not a big fan of ramen and don't have it often enough for the very reasons why people find ramen appealing....for the intensely rich-flavoured pork bone broth and fatty meat.
