*Must Try* Ipoh Famous Yong Tau Fu – Big Tree Foot (大树脚)Last but not least, you can’t just tell people that you went to Big Tree Foot (大树脚) without having their signature beverage – Red Bean Ice Smoothies (红豆冰) which costs only RM2.50 per cup.
Tastes mild sweet, flaky and irresistible strong red bean flavor, this long-forgotten cold beverage is definitely the best duo with Yong Tau Fu (quench thirst and wash any greasy feel), not to mention it just feels awesome drinking cold stuff under any hot sunny days! 😉

Ipoh Famous Big Tree Foot (大树脚) Yong Tau Fu @ Pasir Pinji : 40 Years History YTF !Do order their asam laksa here as well where they are really good too. The flavourful broth with the slurpilicious noodles are definitely well paired with their ytf. Addictively good .
Ipoh People's Favourite Dai Shu Geok Yong Tau Foo (Big Tree Foot) 大树脚 (忠记兵如港口大树头炸料粉)The yong tau foo is nice, with several must try items (e.g. fish filled long beans and sar kok liew) not found in Singapore or Johor. Eating with locals under a big tree is a charming authentic foodie experience.
Choong Kee Yong Tau Fu @ IpohMost of the yong tau fu we had were decent but not really outstanding. The only item that was special enough to be memorable was the ‘sar kot’ (stuffed turnip) – mainly because it was my first time having it, and we don’t get this in KL. But then again, I get comments saying there are plenty of other places that make tastier ‘sar kot’.
