For a slightly lighter meal-wise, the Tea Hall definitely has something to offer. Order the piping hot bowl of spinach soup with minced meat and egg or the bitter gourd soup. Both are simple, providing a taste of home.
Since I was not feeling well, my only light option will be Mushroom Chicken Noodle (RM 8.80). Smooth and light in taste, it turned out to be a decent choice and appeased well to my weakened appetite. Moreover, it was served with generous portion of mushrooms, vegetables and meats.
The facade might not look promising but behind the door is a Chinese restaurant serving home-styled dishes and an array of premium Chinese Tea. Tea Hall (堂茶茶艺馆) is a time-honored restaurant that has been around for years... most of its businesses are by referral, the place sees constant gathering by a group of Chinese Tea-aficionados. Though it seems to be operating as a tea house, the menu is surprisingly extensive but all items are competitively priced. The air-conditioned restaurant is suitable for family gathering or a casual meal, it is popular amongst the white collar workers in the vicinity.
