Flying Pig serving Fried Rice Omelette with crab meat at $10 per plate.
In general, the food is acceptable but the dishes were not that tasty enough for me to make a return trip in months to come.
The first was Flying Pig's signature Omelette Fried Rice with Garlic Pork and Basil Pork. The presentation was as beautiful as advertised.
The rice was not bad, draped with a slightly runny, smooth, moist, slippery and fragrant omelette. The clumps of crab meat elevated the crustacean freshness and flavour of the entire dish, adding to the ordinary fried rice.
Either way, I was surprised by how aromatic this was, as the entire plate carried a pleasantly mild crab aroma; it wasn't just a few pieces thrown on there like a topping. I gobbled it all up in seconds.

We would definitely return to try other favourites such as their Big Omelette Rice Platter ($29), with toppings like crab meat, prawns, garlic and basil pork, making it ideal for sharing with friends or family.
I was very tempted by the Special Omelette Rice ($29) that came with lots more seafood, garlic pork and Thai basil pork so I’ll probably return with a few friends to try it out if I’m in the area.
