not a place we will go back to..
overall very good dimsum but don’t seem to have 潮州粉果…
The Chocolate Cremeux ($9) was a beautifully constructed gold-flaked mandarin orange-accented dessert. Not the most comforting, but gorgeous nonetheless.
Classy stuff, although a little bit stuffy. The food was not bad and refined; the turnip pastry was particularly interesting – moist and slightly crunchy inside, crispy and flaky outside.
Overall dining experience here was very pleasant;
I am really concern about its sweetness, but it proves to be one of the finer artisan desserts I had.
Madame Fan is a Chinese restaurant to impress your folks or partner, where the ambience is very different from the typical oriental vibes of most Chinese restaurants. While prices of the dishes are not cheap on average, I would say the overall experience is still worth that occasional splurge.
