Sous vide-cooked spring chicken RM65 -succulent and locked with moist. A dish that children and adults alike will love. Dressed in cepe mushroom reduction sauce, comes with a side of preserved red cabbage. Garlic potato puree is a little too creamy to us, but if you love real buttery, melt-in-the-mouth food, this could be your favourite.
Reasons to visit 2OX French Bistro: open floor plan with beautiful natural light (daytime visit); the braised oxtail is large and in charge; passion fruit souffle is cooked beautifully; and the wine list is well rounded offering several selections by the glass.
Sous vide spring chicken / cepe mushroom reduction / garlic potato puree / preserved red cabbage Sous vide chicken is definitely different from traditionally cooked chicken. It tastes really juicy and soft! The skin was also quite crispy – and was a perfect match in taste with the garlic potato puree.
Mild spicy mediterranean rub squid (130gm) – RM 55 For me, it created a jolt to the taste bud. Fresh, flavoursome and has the char-grilled flavour to it. Definitely a favourite!
Good France Special 4-course Menu Date: March 21st, 23rd – 25th RM150++ per pax ROASTED BARRAMUNDI FILLET – TURNIPS PUREE – WILTED SPINACH One of my favourite dishes presented, the fish were perfectly seared, with so much creaminess from the puree and smoothness from the spinach. Highly recommended.
