This isn't listed on the paper menu at Marutama, but it was listed in the ordering system that they use for each table, so I grabbed one, especially since the photo showed it as being practically carpeted in green onions. It's too bad then that the real thing wasn't quite as green. It wasn't that interesting either, as it was just their basic ramen with an extra helping of negi.

My friend and I enjoyed the ambience and the food here. The batter is light and does not overpower the fresh ingredients. Simple and yet creative I would say. First time trying exquisite tempura omakase cuisine and it is a good one.
I enjoyed my meal at Peach Blossoms this time much more than my first visit few years ago. It was fun having the Chef’s Tasting Menu since I literally have no idea what to expect, and it is that surprise element which makes the experience a more enjoyable and memorable one for me.
