Shang Palace Singapore review of Chinese restaurant at Shangri-la Hotel with pictures of menu with prices, char siew, dim sum, ginseng soup
Chef Daniel launches new menu of his well-loved star dishes from Hong Kong from 4 October onwards in addition to the restaurant’s renowned Nostalgic dishes, Cantonese classics, and guests’ favourites.
A solid display of heritage and new dishes I had by Chef Daniel, which should bring Shang Palace Singapore to greater heights.
No matter your preferred food, The Line has got you covered with their wide spread of exquisite nosh and themed buffets.
The highlight of the buffet is, of course, the durians.
The Canton Fair buffet has enough to satisfy some discerning taste buds.
The definitely-not-pink Ngoh Hiang Chicken was juicy and crunchy, with bold meaty savoury salty flavour.
Ambience at The Lobby Lounge Shangri-La is welcoming and grand.
The Chee Cheong Fun hit the spot with its thin silky smooth skin and generous glaze of sweet black sauce. Perfectly springy and chewy, the delicate rice rolls had us going back for more.
The food here is excellent but the a la carte is way too expensive. I suggest ordering the sets.
NAMI specializes in omakase (おまかせ), which means "I'll leave it up to you". This gives the restaurant greater latitude in expressing its gastronomical philosophy.
The restaurant has a contemporary interior looks with cosy ambience.
The Origin Grill at Shangri-La is certainly an attractive place, but it did not look as “wow” as it did in the pictures that we had seen.
For my main, I had the Wagyu flank steak, it might not seem like a lot but between heavy meals and some baguette at the start of the meal, this was the perfect portion.
It's easy to say, there will be no strangers at the bar at the end of a long, imbibe-fuelled night.
In this lobster season, Huat Kee has "dragon prawn" dishes done the Teochew way - arguably, the best way to prepare this prized crustacean
the teochew fried kauy teow was good but still not enough wokhae, not the best, can be better.
Another must-try, the Pan-Fried Threadfin with Soybean Sauce ($60) was superb.
I was still hungry and thought they could serve another 2 pieces of sushi. But not only is the food fantastic, the way this omakase meal is organised is surprising. It’s not a straightforward set of appetiser, sushi, miso soup, dessert. But a main fish dish and the miso soup are served in between the sushi course. This is creativity within the bounds of tradition. It’s these little details that matter. And that’s how you do a perfect restaurant.
We have seen quite a couple of new Japanese omakase restaurants this year from the likes of Ikkoten & Ikkagoyo, and the addition of Tomidou is another fine omakase restaurant to consider checking out. The lunch menu is relatively value for money, though I also couldn’t help thinking if our omakase scene is over-saturated in Singapore.
Overall, it was an excellent culinary journey of Argentinian cuisine. While some of the dishes look familiar, we find the taste uniquely different due to the use of Argentinian flavour and ingredients. Salud! Cheers!
To complement the food, Head Bartender Sophia Kang has also teamed up with Restaurant and Bar Manager Gabriel Carlos to present three chocolate-themed cocktails for the season.

All in all, I do not mind splurging once in a while for such delicious lobster rolls.

This famous Chinese restaurant at the Singapore Orchard Hotel is a stalwart on the dining scene. They have arrangements for delivery or food pickup from the hotel driveway which is always our preference whenever it is available.
These too cute to resist pineapple tarts are leaf shaped - reminds me of their logo, don't you think? Just perfect with a cup of hot tea.

Nice, sweet, smoky and tender unagi.

we shared a parfait…this not comparable with sun with moon, can do without. but unagi I will come again.
Even though we missed out on Seafood Mania Buffet at J65, we took in the 3 course set lunch. The mains were a nice Crispy Seabass, Seafood Thermidor, Grilled Salmon, Chicken Rice and Braised Beef. …

The Peranakan Lengkok Bahru restaurant review with pictures of menu with prices, chicken bueh keluak, chap chye, ngoh hiang ...
It won't be anything but a resounding two thumbs up for The Peranakan for the quality of food, service and dining ambience.
All in all, like my previous experiences, the displays are constantly in transition, so, nobody gets bored, and with constantly new dishes & ideas rotating on & off the menu, diners & patrons have much more to experience with passing times.
The restaurant is well-known for its contemporary Italian food, which is made using high-quality ingredients sourced both locally and from Italy.
il Cielo on the rooftop of Hilton Hotel, on level 24, welcomes Spring with a new menu that features seasonal harvest from the Italy and Japan.
I certainly think that the creativity and the quality of ingredients used make this restaurant Michelin-star worthy.
Carousel Buffet Review 2022
Given a chance to be back again, I will very much like to order their main courses.
Open Farm Community New Dishes maybe created and filled with with local flavours, however, I feel that there isn’t any wow factor. Some fine tuning to the dishes may be required. Generally, I notice the vegetarian dishes were extremely well executed, so were the pasta.
A little pricey for the portions but it was delicious.
The Place I took the opportunity to check out Opus Bar & Grill Sunday Brunch buffet during my recent stay at Voco Orchard Singapore. I have previously dined here for dinner, but it was my first…
The Portobello Mushrooms ($10) is juicy and lightly seasoned for taste, which was a perfect compliment to the meatier mains.
One of the special highlights of the buffet includes the Ocean-fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar such as the fresh Alaskan king crabs, Maine lobsters, freshly shucked oysters.
