This hotel – and in particular, the Club InterContinental lounge – was one of my earliest luxury hotel experiences.
With an impeccable service, my stay at InterContinental Singapore is an oasis in the city.
Maybe it is the InterContinental brand of hospitality, or simply the way of the classic hotels (as opposed to the more “trendy” and modern ones which often focus on style over substance), but I too felt right at home.
Overall, while I didn't have the best sleep at Hotel G, I enjoyed the cosy feels in the room and the breakfast was good. Value for money.
The room ranges from 11 to 13 sqm. While not spacious, it was sufficiently big to cosy up and take your well-deserved break (we were accompanied by Harry Potter and friends on the TV – contented).
Hotel G Singapore (certified SG Clean) is introducing not one, but two irresistible staycation packages catering to every budget, ideal for those in need of a little break.
It seemed like not so long ago when Wanderlust Hotel first opened in 2010 as a whimsical boutique hotel in Little India with rooms characterized by bright colors and neon lights. It was one of the most recognizable properties of Unlisted Collection’s hospitality arm – the group that arguably started…
Since Summerview Hotel is a 3-Star hotel, can't really hope too much from its morning breakfast offering.
I would say it is a 3 star hotel probably worth SGD$80 or less, for the price of SGD$160 at the time of booking for myself; was a little disappointment.
I'm also really looking forward to the collaborations that Raffles Courtyard has in the pipeline!
I heard that they are almost fully booked for the entire Chinese New Year period so do ring them up soon to make your reservation!
Finally, a bucket list off my list. I am glad I jumped on the current staycation promotion to check out Raffles Singapore, and my impression of the property is no longer just what I see from the glamorous facade along Beach Road.
The beautifully appointed Crest Suite and its accompanying privileges made for a surprisingly luxurious and memorable stay, and I would strongly recommend it for celebrating a special occasion.
We think it is one of the best coffee spots in Raffles City – great ambience, professional service and good coffee that is reasonably priced.
這次在新加坡是住在Swissotel The Stamford，位置好，就在捷運City Hall站上面，到站後看指標走上來，先到Raffles City，往右轉經過麥當勞往左轉就到了～而且我看上這間
Apart from the all-you-can-eat pizzas, the buffet price gets you all-you-can-drink pilsner beers, specially made for Andaz Singapore in collaboration with Trouble Brewing.
breakfast to forget!
nice view of south beach, raffles city, padang, esplanade, suntec, MBS, marina barrage & viaduct from room
The bites were great and I especially enjoyed the velvety smooth foie gras terrine on crisp brioche which was complemented perfectly by a Williams pear compote, balsamic vinaigrette and pistachio.
The food at Park Palace is excellent (and I will share this soon in a separate post) and the quality of the s.p.a. is equally impressive.
Definitely a great Singapore staycation spot for locals, and a highly accessible cosy choice for business travelers.
One of our favourite features that Beach Road Kitchen has is their Sweets Wall.
JW Marriott Singapore South Beach celebrates this festive season with traditional festive buffet of over 100 selections at the award-winning Beach Road kitchen.
For a city hotel, there is really nothing much you can ask for more here.
A Jingling-Good Time festive buffet, only available on 24 – 25 December 2018, is decidedly more elaborate and lavish.
East Meets West Buffet serves a number of innovative dishes by combining some of the unusual east and west ingredients together which we thought it was a good try. At this buffet, we find that the standard is getting better.
