Back in May 2012, I have eaten some signature dishes such as Pork Intestines, deep fried pork knuckle, Heng Hwa Bee Hoon, Duck with Yam in Pu Tien when it just opened in One Utama so this time I did not order any of those dishes.

Likes: Practically none Dislikes: Fake pretentious Chinese food, hygiene issues (finger goes into the food and manager refuses to do anything about it), non-existent service, not up to par food, food was served lukewarm to cold - was left on the counter for a long time

Putien Style Century Egg is one of a unique dish or I would make it a recommended dish. The century egg stir fried to perfection where it is coated in light and crispy batter with some sweet and sour sauce. The yolk inside remained creamy even after deep-frying. So good!

PUTIEN Lor Mee 莆田卤面 Silky Putian noodles with pork belly, prawn and clam braised in a luscious pork broth. I prefer this instead of PUTIEN Heng Hwa Bee Hoon, the gravy isn't as thickh as the Lor Mee we usually eat, but it is so flavour and slightly sweet while the soup infused by pork belly, prawn and clam. Taste so good!

The Shredded Meat with Bun is a popular dish that appears on many tables of diners. Golden fried mantao are served with a platter of stir fried shredded pork with onions in a delicious sweet and savory brown sauce. The crispy and fluffy mantao with sesame seeds together with the juicy tender pork showed that not all Heng Hua dishes are light in flavor. This one has a robust meaty savory flavor that goes well with anyone of all ages. My little one also loves this bun a lot whenever we dine at Putien.
